Cute style but the base of the shoe is slightly heavy so you get a loud slapping sound when walking. Also, the toe box area is cut so that my big toe hangs off the edge slightly and I do not have long toes or wide feet. I often fit into narrow shoes in fact.

Very happy with my 3rd pair of Okabashi Flip Flops.Lakeside has a slight raised heel - Very comfortable, I wear a size 9 shoe, I ordered Lakeside size ML it fits perfectly. I bought these because it was recommended when I was looking for shoes and sandals with arch support. I have a crazy high arch and it’s causing foot issues so it’s time to find shoes with better support. While there appears to be an area with an elevated arch, it doesn’t even come close to touching my arches. While that is a bummer, I will say you can’t beat the price and the little wedge makes them super cute. Just not the right option for someone with a major arch trying to make better shoe decisions.UPDATE: 4/2/19 Asked about returning since after wearing for a short time in my house, I realized that the lack of arch support would drive me nuts. I had already removed the tags and I inquired about whether I could return them. They were super easy going about it and basically said "no problem, send them back." While they're not the right shoe for me, I'd encourage you to give them a try if you don't have super high arches. Great price and great customer service! **I gave one extra star for the service.

I'm torn. I have been wearing Okabashi flip flops exclusively for 3 years. I have bought them for family and friends and raved about the comfort and durability. My husband was not as big abfan, his broke. My last pair the logo on the heel came off, making them unwearaable. But... The previous 2 pair were amazing. I wear flip flops everyday possible from June through September. I walk my dog, go to the beach, go to outdoor festivals, travel through airports. So I am disappointed and wonder if something has changed.

I have owned 4 pairs of Okabashi sandals. These were a real disappointment. Strangely slippery, very wide. Plus, I broke out in hives, which never happened before. Sent them off to Salvation Army with hopes they make someone happier than me. :-)

They are well made flip flops. The straps could be tighter which would be better. They dont have the arch support that the mens surf okabashis have. I am female but love the mens surf flip flop advertised with the high arch support better. Still these are nice looking and the heel is a nice height.

Ouch, ouch, ouch. I liked that it gave me an extra inch in height since I'm not that tall. However, this flip flop is very heavy. It is also very heavy and very hardso each step was not cushioned, which I expected with such a thick sole and heel. Then it was rather narrow, but I will admit my feet are a little wide. Worst of af all, was how rigid it was. Very uncomfortable.

I loved this shoes, until the tong broke... at the airport, made for an a very uncomfortable travel day! so disappointed!!!

poor fit - uncomfortable. surprised these are okabashi - were they really made in the usa?

They are too big but say they are a 7-71/2. And they are far too pricey.
