Rockford Fosgate R2-500X4 Prime 500-Watt 4-Channel Amplifier

It's been years since I've heard my sound like this. I actually bought this to replace my Pioneer D-class 1200w amp. The sound coming out of my speakers sound soooo clean, and powerfull. I have this installed in my 8th Gen Honda Civic (without a 2nd battery) but I do have this paired up with a Rockford Fosgate Digital Compacitor. All of my speakers are Rockford Fosgate full-range 6.5 speakers, but I also have tweeters installed (Pioneer). This amp doesn't seem that it sucks up too much energy from my battery, which I was aiming for. I had that issue with the previous amp I mentioned. I went with this amp also because I used to have a mono amp that drove a sub box I had, so I knew what it could do (I now have a powered sub installed in the spare tire. I wanted my trunk space back lol). But IF I needed to buy another one of these, I would.

Just like the title says because this isn’t in a show or competition sound vehicle, just in my everyday driver(2003 Mitsubishi Montero Limited) 75X4 it claims to push I highly doubt that, more like 100x4 because I had to completely redo the settings on my radio including doing away with using the loudness settings, even after working and fine tuning the C.L.E.A.N setup, I feel like my truck should be in a sound competition, I have it running a set of Punch P165-SE 6 1/2 components in the front doors and a set of Punch P1675 6 3/4 3way speakers in the rear doors and it is mind numbing the amount of clarity and non distortion it’s putting out, birth sheet says the total RMS power is 580 which is still jaw dropping

It came in at a decent timing and it hooked right up easily from when I had my old amp, works fine and sound is just as I expected!

Well known brand with a solid product. It is well put together. Has all the proper documentation with test results. As input LED and outpet LED so it makes it easier to set levels. It may be a bit on the pricey side for three hundred thirty bucks, but if you want quality it is worth it. I have it powering 4 CT Sound speakers.

very clean sound

had to replace an older rockford fosgate T400 that the rear channels went out on. all I gotta say is wow this little amp does the job and then some it's powering 8 alpine speakers in my boat and I couldn't be happier

Looks and sounds good but one channel seems to have trouble at timrs
