Perfect replacement to fit 15" metal ductwork.
I bought an investment property that had rodent damaged ductwork. Main trunk line (15" metal and feeder line 8"). HVAC company wanted to charge me over a grand and I had to wait 6 months.I purchased this item along with a 4" foil tape, 3" mesh tape and a gallon of mastic and 4-6 hours later I was able to clean the old, re-secure and reseal the metal duct then wrap with this product and finish the job off with mastic to seal the seams. In case you're wondering the size diameter pipe it will fit multiply the diameter of your pipe by pi (3.14) and you'll get the circumference (mine was 15 x 3.14=47.1, exact fit for this 48" sheet).Saved me quite a bit of money and I lost 10 pounds working in the attic for 5 hours.

Excellent quality insulation for HVAC project
I needed to air seal and re-insulate my hvac plenum in my attic. I initially bought a roll of FrostKing insulation from Lowe’s, but it was garbage, really weak stuff. However, this stuff is professional grade insulation. The silver backing is tough and reinforced with fiberglass strings, and both foil and cloth tapes adhere to it very well.

Good stuff no complaints
Was not sure what I got till I opened the box and rolled out the insulation. It worked as advertised, I cut it to the proper sizes needed and started wrapping all my duct work under my house. Cuts easy enough with a blade backing does not tear as easy as other brands I have used I ordered two more rolls

Very happy with the duct insulation
Exactly what I wanted, exactly as described. Able to wrap about 20 feet of 6 inch heating duct in a crawl space, used aluminum tape to seal the insulation, and it is making a Big difference in the warmth in the two bedrooms. Very happy with the duct insulation. I cut approximately 25 inch pieces to wrap around 48 inches at a time, used a couple of short pieces of aluminum tape to hold in place, and then taped the whole seam. Used 6 inch strips to wrap around one “tee” and several elbows, plus the funnels at the floor outlets. Took several hours but is well worth the time.

Good quality.
Good quality foil faced insulation. Wrapped my A/C ducts with it. When calculating how much to cut, I started by allowing for 1-1/2" thickness on top of duct radius (so diameter plus 3"). This was too much and left a sag underneath the duct. Then recalculated assuming 1.25" thickness and trimmed that much off. This produced a nice fit but not so tight so as to compress the insulation. So take your duct diameter, add 2.5" (2 x 1.25"), and multiply by Pi (3.14); cut that much off the roll. Keep the 48" width and orient that in the duct direction. They put about 1.5" of extra foil along one edge to allow it to overlap the next 48" section. Tape the seems with duct tape and you're done. No more heat loss in winter and no more dripping condensation when the A/C is on.

Plenty of insulation for the price
This worked out great on my duct work replacement, I used it on the metal wye connections that I hooked the flexible duct to and I still have about half of it left for future usage. I did double line some of them, I just peeled lose the insulation fromthe vapor barrier and then put another piece on top of that.
