Two CD edition including a bonus disc along with a 32-page booklet. 2017 release from Canadian-born and UK-based bass player Antoine Fafard, who has been releasing original music for more than 15 years. On Pronto Mundi, Antoine Fafard is joined by Simon Phillips (Toto and Jeff Beck), Jerry Goodman and Gary Husband. This is a must have for fans of prog-rock and jazz fusion. Simon Phillips' tracks were recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, while most of Gary Husband's performance was captured at Eastcote Studios. Proto Mundi is accompanied by a bonus album entitled Doomsday Vault which features 11 remixed songs from Antoine's first three CDs, plus four previously unreleased pieces - three of which feature brand new performance from violinist Jerry Goodman, and a fourth featuring Chad Wackerman on drums.

Excellent CD
Great CD. With Jerry and Simon, makes this a must. The bonus disc was an unexpected surprise. Excellent disc with tracks from his earlier cd's. Also with monster drummers. Vinny,Weckl,Gavin Harrison, Husband, and Bozzio. All 15 tracks are excellent. The main 1st disc is also great. A MUST! I highly recommend.

Too pricey for recycled music.
For a musician like Fafard who was put on the map by having big names playing with him does not mean his albums are expensive. He is just climbing up the ladder and what more if he had reached the level of his mentors. I visited his official site and his albums are even more pricey. As for the music it is your typical instrumental prog that only gained attention because of big names like Simon Phillips. Save your money.
