$5.72 is what I paid for this little gem. Looks perfect. Feels a little cheap, but then it is. I have pretty fine hair and at 50plus years old it's getting thin. If anyone is having a problem with using this on thin hair there is a trick to it. I wore these in the seventies. Comb your hair back to the nape of neck and hold it like you're making a ponytail and twist it and then fold it up against the back of your head and apply the leather piece and fasten with stick. The stick can be scraped against your scalp to gather hair. The ends will stick up and hang and be cute. The amount of twisting and the placement of the leather piece in relation to the base depends on the length of your hair.

I had one of these back in the 70's. Thought I would check to see if they were still out there and lo and behold, they were! I'm thrilled! The are perfect for a loose pony or to put it up real quick. I love it! Thanks for keeping them available for us old hippie chicks!

I have a lot of very long (waist length) hair. The majority of clips and pins will not fit or hold my hair in a single ponytail, much less when it's pulled into a bun. This one did. Granted the fit is a bit tight for me, but it should fit comfortably for most people.

Years ago I had a leather hair pin like this one and decided to try to find it online. I was happy to find this pin and was very pleased with the flexibility in the leather and the color (black). I was however unhappy with the stick pin, it had cracked and it stuck into my head. I contacted the sellers and they immediately mailed me a replacement. Overall I was happy with the product and the customer service.

YEP...5!! I bought 1 of these barrettes and fell in love with it so I went back and bought 4 more. I have fine shoulder length hair and this barrette holds my hair in an updo or in a traditional ponytail. It is sturdy and well made. I don’t have a lot of luck with hair clips but this one seems to be magic.

Much cheaper quality than the last one I found. Just thin and the stitching even looks cheap. Wanted something a little more elegant looking. Also doesn’t feel as sturdy as previous ones I’ve had from other sellers.

Flexible. It can be reversed. Just what I was looking for.

I used it to cover up a fake ponytail. It does the job if you put it on right. If you don’t you will feel pain. It will rip or tear if your not careful with it.
