The Woman's Study Bible: New King James Version, Personal Size (Signature)

Well written and easy to understand. This study bible is written with reference to things concerning women so that specific bible scripture can be quickly looked up. For example, if you are a woman and want to know how to handle a problem in a marriage or stress at the job, etc., there is specific scripture that gives guidance and instruction for that. My wife bought this for herself and then bought one for her mother. I like it because it has topics in it like dealing with forgiveness for example. There is a section of a page talking about forgiveness and the importance of it. That section also includes specific bible verses dealing with that topic. I personally do not know the Bible well enough to be able to open it and find every scripture pertaining to forgiveness...with this bible, you can look up that topic and find all the scripute relating to that. God made us and the Bible is His instruction manual...everything we need to know is in there and this study bible is a great way to learn that.

Gave this as a Mothers Day gift to my mom, who is not a follower of Christ. It is a beautiful bible. The study sections do a great job in keeping the reader engaged and applying the Word into real life situations.I cannot say weather my mom actually reads it or not, but when compared to a regular (non-commentary) bible, this made such a precious gift.One thing to note is that the font is very small, which may be difficult for older women, and the pages are very thin. I will be buying another one for myself, however will keep my regular bible to write in and highlight.

I love this Study Bible. I have always used the NIV study bible and my husband gave this one to me for Christmas. I love reading the commentary with the verses. I am learning so much more with books of the bible that I have read before. I enjoy the various authors insights and stories. I recommend this Bible to all women who want a deeper understanding of God's Word. The Leathersoft cover so far is very soft yet seems like it will be sturdy. One of the problems with my leather bibles is that the binding and leather start to give out over years of use. I also enjoy the pink and tan color.

The cover is nice and true to the picture (the embossed design doesn't extend to the back), and I like the topics/articles they address throughout in call-out boxes. I misunderstood that the two-color text throughout does not include the words of Jesus being in a second color (which I prefer). The other color ink is light brown, so it can sometimes be difficult to read. Also, text shows through from the other side of the page, making it difficult to read at times. The page edges are silver and there is a ribbon placeholder (which aren't specified in the description). The margins are also wide enough to write in (if you write small). The notes at the bottom of the page aren't as thorough as some other versions (like a true study Bible). My church uses the NKJV, so I got this to follow along during service vs. as my study Bible. All in all it will serve my purposes, but it won't be my primary Bible.

After using the larger 1st edition for many years, I was looking for a smaller size that would fit the lap better so I ordered what is called the personal size. It is thicker than I hoped but it has so much wonderful information for women that it couldn't be any thinner and still be able to read it. It is the 2nd Edition. Having received a Kindle Fire HDX 7 for Christmas I quickly ordered the Kindle version and love it. In my opinion it is the best Bible for women as there are commentaries in it that cover every topic a woman can imagine. Plus there is a commentary on every woman in the Bible. I wouldn't be without this Bible.

I chose a five-star rating because I also have this bible in print and I love the fact that there is additional information that explains, enlightens, and encourages me to study the word of God. My printed version has a pronounciation feature that allows me to read with confidence. I would most definitely recommend the printed and android version to any and all who wish to immerse themselves in the story of Christian beliefs. Thank you for making it available.

Women, if you haven't read this Bible, you need to. I not only have mine for study on Sunday morning sessions, but daily reading and gift giving. I have given several as gifts, and every person who has received it has come back to me with compliments and comments that they have never read the Bible in this way. The side bar comments has made each of us understand God's word in a way never more explained besides giving insight on many of the women of the Bible. Well worth your money.

I searched for a Bible until I found this one. I enjoy the woman's perspective and understanding of a woman's role from God. In addition to reading the word of God, I enjoy the additional explanations that are offered. I like this Bible so much that I've ordered one for my daughter.

This item arrived really prompt, very ex condition!!! This is the second time that I have used this site and I am really impressed!! I bought this bible for myself a couple of months ago and have been engrossed ever since!! I love the way that it portrays the topics, which run all the way through it!! As I am chuffed with what I am reading and learning, I decided to order one for my daughter, who's birthday is on thurs 24th this month!!! I was able to post this off to her well in time!! Its a great read and you will not be disappointed of the new ways in which God brings his word to light!! Great covers, great material written, its one of the best that I have bought and this is my number 32nd bible!!! Go for it-you don't know what you are missing!!

Written by women for women, will give you a lot of background infos on each of the book populating the Bible, along with a description of main characters in the biblem their impact.It is a very good source to assess against what you here during sermons and preching!
