Physics Technology Update (4th Edition)

THIS TEXBOOK IS GREAT!!I bought this text book for my college physics class which uses "A Strategic Approach" by Knight, Jones, Field (awful for new learners).This book is clear, the end of chapter summaries are very helpful, Equations and definitions are easy to find, example problems are clearly worked through symbolically and numerically. I picked up a fee sample of this text that only had a few of the chapters, It saved me! I purchased the full text and am happy to say that I have aced all of my exams.

Great condition

This book was for my son for college.

The book (2/5 stars):It's a decent book. It explains things well enough to understand and has a fair bit of information but it's nothing special. Unfortunately it is quite overprice as new (I got it used for $50). For my physics class the book was of little to no use due to the teacher explaining everything better than the book.The online homework system (4/5 stars):In contrast I found the online homework system to be very useful for learning and understanding the material. It was a good review tool that has fairly difficult questions to really test you knowledge of the subject. I Took 1 star off because the homework system does not offer any feedback whatsoever if you get a problem wrong.Other thoughts:Just to be clear, if you order this book used you will almost certainly not get a key for the online homework program, however the key can be purchased at the publishers website for $69.
