Sanniti bella de cerignolas texture firm, consistent buttery taste, perfectly crafted. THE BEST!
If I closed my eyes while enjoying these olives and envisioned dining al fresca under bright stars beneath the lit grape vine arbor which shaded my patio table in La Maddelena, I'd swear I was back there. These Bella Di Cerignola olives are the best I've had in fifteen years and rate well above any intended competition haphazardly placed on amazon or specialty store shelf. All the serious olive eaters out there seeking thick meaty rind, authentic Italian really want these olives. Look no further, you found the best.

The real deal
Spectacular olives. Large, unblemished, and firm specimens. Nice simple brine. Great taste and texture. Great treat to keep me going through the day.

Wonderful Olives
Expensive, but a uniquely delicious olive! The olives are large with a vibrant green color. It’s not a strong briney flavor as I expected, but rather a combination of fleshy, firm, mildly salty — meaning, I tasted the actual olive, not just vinegar. It gives the experience of fresh “artichoke”, citrus and pure olive flavor. The texture and flavor make the experience. I’m not a fan of overly herbed and spiced olives when eaten by themselves, I want to taste the olive. This is honesty one of the best olives I’ve ever eaten.

Awful tasting
Olives are inedible. I tried 1 and it tasted like it was unripe. Truly terrible

these are my favorite olives, i cant even eat store bought ones anymore these ruined me for it. they are less salty, very grassy i guess you'd say, and have a buttery finish. I really love them... wish i could buy them by the barrel load

Great olives but liquid turns black in fridge
I have been buying Sanniti whole cerignola olive from an Italian deli for many years. They came in a plastic container and the liquid kept irs original light greenish color after opening for many weeks in the fridge. While the olives in this jarred product are comparably very good, the liquid turns very dark in short order in the fridge. It is very off-putting and suggestive that there is insufficient antioxidant present. The liquid is said to contain the antioxidant ascorbic acid (vitamin C), but the amount must be inadequate. Or a more effective antioxidant should be used. The manufacturer needs to take notice.Followup: Given my suspicion that there was insufficient antioxidant in the liquid, I performed an experiment that proved successful in preventing the intense darkening. Basically, I removed some liquid from a newly opened jar, about 1/4 of the volume, and replaced it with liquid from another olive product that never was noted to darken. Hah! The effective antioxidant in the competitor’s jar held off any stark discoloration in this refrigerated product.

Very Good - Mild
I liked these. Not too much vinegar or salt. The olives are mild. Only issue is I think they are pricey for the amount you get.
