Great design, good quality, and affordable.
. I sell hand-made jewelry at craft fairs. I had been using a cardboard box to hold money (not a good idea) before deciding to but a metal cash box. I compared styles and prices before settling on this one. I figured the Master Lock brand wouldn't let me down. This box is perfect for my needs. The compartments are deep enough to keep coins from spilling and paper bills from sliding away. The steel construction is sturdy and the latch is secure. And, it's a perfect size and weight for folks like me who need a secure way of separating and storing money without paying for a large, expensive box. It's lockable, which ensures that the lid will stay put even if the box is being jostled around. I can highly recommend this cash box!

Got it on a whim and finds it useful.
I got it on a whim because I figured that I do garage sale enough and sometimes fundraising (once in a great moon) that it would be useful to have. And so far I found that it is. It's also useful when you are teaching kids about money (not to be harsh about kid toys made for that reason), but it seems to help kids out--in my opinion--better than the those fake cash registers do...but then again that might be because I don't use fake money when teaching a kid about it. You'd be surprised how much a kid learns with only 1 of each bill ranging from $1-$20 and a whole bunch of change. Anyway, it serves it's purpose and is pretty durable. I would definitely recommend this product for use.

Not meant to be a full proof safe, great for small events like yard sale or selling raffle tickets.
My son loves it! It arrived on time in just 2days. Its perfect for yard sale or small events like selling raffle tickets or boy scouts popcorn sales or just for storing money at home, its not a full proof safe but more of a deterrent. My son uses his as a piggy bank (he is 8). Overall its exactly as advertised and perfect for us. Thanks for a quality product at an affordable price (on avg. $10 cheaper than any retail store) with fast shipping!

Good As A Cash Box, But One Major Flaw
This box is useful for me because it has a cash tray with space underneath. I use the space underneath for important monthly papers I need access to, such as mortgage vouchers and checks. The cash tray is great for storing loose bills I have lying around. My main reason for buying this box was to store money related items in one place. This box serves that purpose. That being said, after two months of use, I find the box increasingly difficult to close. As the box is fairly flimsy, the top almost never lines up correctly with the bottom, so I always have to struggle to get the box closed. It feels as if one day the lid will actually snap off. I can't complain too much because this was very inexpensive, but still, that's no excuse for offering an inferior product that doesn't work well. I never use the lock, so I can't remark on that. If you want a convenient place to store some cash and paperwork that you might access once or twice per week, this is a good box, if you don't mind spending some time trying to close it. If you want something sturdy and secure, look elsewhere.

Flimsy Keys defeat locking purpose
They keys are flimsy and bend easy making hard for use after use. If i I would've known that these were thin flimsy keys i would not purchased this item. The box itself I admit is great, but repeats purpose of a lock box when limited use of locking due to flimsy keys that dont last.

Good buy overall
I purchased this as a safe for my prescription medication (call me paranoid, but I don't trust my college roommates). It is quite satisfactory; after removing the money tray there is ample space, and I find myself looking for things to keep in it just to fill it up. For reference, it could probably fit a pair of US Men's size ten running shoes (I wouldn't know, as I have size fourteen boat-feet - but it looks about that size). The price was, I thought, quite reasonable, and it arrived quite promptly after ordering. The locking mechanism leaves something to be desired (a little fidgety to lock or unlock, and easily picked) but what were you expecting, Fort Knox?

7 and 6 year old boys love these - they each got one
My 9, 7 and 6 year old boys love these - they each got one. More of a bigger kid way to hang onto their valuables and cash the get here and there. I also used it for a Cub Scout concession stand. No issues with any of them, and they each came with different locks (so one boy cannot open one of their brothers, thank goodness). Also, this one is nice because there is still a latch so when you pick it up everything doesn't fall out (meaning, you don't have to lock it to carry it).

Love that the coin slots curve up along the edge to slide out easily!
Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a fun way for my grandson to practice learning to count money. We have been using a plastic bag to keep real money in and I thought this would be a fun way to keep him interested in practicing. I couldn't tell by the picture but was pleasantly surprised that the money slots are curved along the edge so that when you draw the coins out towards you they slide up to you along the upward curve to come out easily. Very nice for what I wanted. Also, if we ever have a garage sell, we can use it for that.
