Works good and is bright white.

Works well - used it for a green screen effect

Someone took a candid of me while I had this in my hair but that was after about a week and I kept my hair in braids the whole time. It’s effective as a tint I’d say for darker hair not so much a full on semi permanent dye. I only tried the green when I try the blue I’ll try to take some pics. However for the price point and the effect I think it’s worth it, and cute. I only used about 1/3 or less of the jar so I’ll be using again. Disclaimer for anyone with natural kinky hair, it is very heavy and almost listens your curl pattern. I washed and braided my hair, let it dry then applied it and let it dry/set. When I went to braid my hair down it felt like braiding my hair when it’s damp even though it was dry, just how thick the product is but it’s wax so that’s a given. Also it did bleed onto the jacket I had in in this picture… don’t know how. Still trying to figure out how to get it off. Overall great product.

I’ve used this brand before purchasing from my local beauty supply. It’s a thick wax and it is a bit messy to apply but washes off your hands easily. If you’ve ever colored your hair you know it’ll stain/rub off this is no different. I’m only writing this review because I applied the wax to my whole head from the roots to the end and I believe it’s caused me to have some sort of allergic reaction. Previous times I’ve used this product it was just on the ends so no issues. I was going to keep the color in until my off day so I could thoroughly wash it out, but my head felt like it was on fire. Not a burning sensation, but I initially had the feeling of a sore throat and just felt progressively sick from there. I rinsed a lot of it out and almost immediately felt better. Still sick, but it wasn’t as agonizing. I don’t usually have allergic reactions to things, so test it out if you’re thinking about using it all over. Otherwise it works as intended

Color is great and it's super easy to clean off

My daughter wanted to dress up like Nezuko for Halloween and since she has this beautiful long hair we opted for this hair wax instead of a wig. Big mistake! It was almost impossible to apply the wax. It's for sure not for long hair! She's dark blond and it would not cover or dye very well. You can also forgot to comb hair with this stuff in it, no brush or comb would go through it. It however stained her clothing right away when I removed the towel from her shoulders. It was horrible! She was late for school and crying, and I was stressed out, so we decided to simply wash the mess out. Thank goodness the water ran clean after only three washes. This alone would have been more than enough, but it ended there. When I looked at the floor, where I tried to brush her hair, I found tons of little black dots. She left a trail of little black dots on the floor from there to the bathroom. We didn't even try to brush or comb her hair in the bathroom, but still the stuff was everywhere! So if you don't want to be deep cleaning your house don't use this hair wax. There should be a warning on this product that it's not for long hair, especially not if you want to dye bigger areas. It literally felt like trying to brush gum out of her hair. She was too upset for me to even think about taking a picture of how bad this wax was in her hair, but I took a closeup of some of the black dots I found on the bathroom floor where she undressed so we could wash the stuff out. The floor was much worse where we tried to comb her hair. I absolutely can not recommend this hair wax for anyone.

A lot of reviews for other products say that the black is like grayish, but this one is legit black. It’s easy to use and not super stiff when you’re applying it. (It does get a bit crunchy when it’s dry) Beware of transfer though, it is a wax, so it will totally transfer onto your clothes and stuff. I am natural blonde so I was a bit worried about residual staining, but I had it in for 24 hours and it washed out perfectly!

This product did change the color of my hair however it made my hair into a stiff, hard block that was impossible to brush through. Every time I touched my hair it turned my finger black from the wax. It was also incredibly hard to wash out. Look for a different product.
