JXXXN Candle Making Kit Supplies, Soy Wax Making Kit Including Pot, Wicks, Sticker, Tins, Soybean Wax, Spoon & More

My husband bought these for us to make together on our anniversary. It took a couple hours to finish all the candles, and later we ended up melting them all back down with wax warming plates to add in extra scent.The scent: The instructions don't tell you how much fragrance to use. At first we added at least 30 drops of oil in just the tiniest tins (the gold ones are lip balm sized), and you couldn't smell anything at all whether they were lit or not. In the end we completely emptied all four bottles of oil into the six little candles. The lavender is my favorite scent in the bottle, but it really doesn't overpower the wax smell once it cures. The orange smells the strongest and the peppermint is good too.The wax & color: The kit comes with three bags of wax and we ended up with about half a bag still leftover. The colors are all very vibrant, you don't need to use much at all and you will definitely have leftovers. We enjoyed mixing them together to make new colors like orange, lime green & turquoise. You will also end up with extra wicks, which was helpful when we melted our candles back down and some floated to the top and needed replaced.Overall they were very simple to make and a fun activity to share. They would make nice gifts for friends or family if you spruced up the cans, but I wouldn't buy them for the purpose of reselling them based on the price and quality. The gift bags are cute, but the stickers look boring to me. All in all, if you want to try something new, especially with a loved one, I'd absolutely recommend this kit for some quality time together!

The kit was exactly as advertised. The fragrance oils included were the basic typical beginner scents and nothing spectacular...i actually am not a fan of tea tree oil as a scent. It's just like why would anyone want to smell that burning (like imagine a beginner who is not yet accustomed to mixing scents...making and burning a tea tree scented candle) not very pleasant, soothing or relaxing...perhaps rub some on your temples to help you remain calm and focused while beginning the candle making process??! Idk lol I only used the orange before promptly ordering more deluxe and unique fragrance oils. But the items that are included in the kit are beyond everything that you need to get started! They even included thank you stickers, cute gift bags and more than enough wicks, containers (of various sizes), wax was easy enough to work with for beginners and loads of other nifty surprises! It's a superb starter kit for a great price and awesome quality!!

Love it. Easy to use to begin making candles for a hobby. The scents could be more ounces being that with soy wax the fragrance isn’t as strong, so you will need more than what is available.

This kit literally comes with everything you need to start making candles. I’m so excited to use it and happy it came with 3 bags of wax and it makes sense because I went through 2 bags already for the bigger size tins lol. The warmer is kind of small but it works perfectly though, it also comes with instructions which is big plus for someone who knows nothing about candle making like myself. You’ll definitely be buying more candle wax but other than that, this kit is perfect!

Got this as a gift for someone because it had a little of everything I wanted to give her so I was happy when I found this and she was happy to receive it too

Melting pot is too small for the amount of wax needed to fill largest tin size. Directions for the amount of fragrance oil needed was not included, it just says add oil at 140 degrees, ok but how much oil???. Wicks are flimsy. They're not even cotton, more like plastic. I'm scared to light it. I do not recommend this kit as a starter kit. I will be looking for another seller.

Great set for kids! My 12 yr old loved it and the supplies lasted her quite a while! still using the pot to warm candles. A great introductory set for kids and adults. The containers it came with were decent size, the bag of wax was standard size that comes with kits. The quantity of supplies was standard, she was able to make quite a few candles before running out of supplies
