The butterflies are not comfortable for my son and the dolphins are for right handers only. There's a little bump on the belly side for your middle finger to sit against but doesn't work with lefties, which sucks for my kids since they both are lefties.

My 8 year old still have a very hard time holding his pencil correctly and writing letters nicely. These are very nice. I no longer need to correct his hand placement (so he doesn't get annoyed and frustrated). He likes using them and prefers the pencils that already have these on them than the ones that do not.

The butterfly grips are good quality ,but the openings only fit pencils.Even thin erasable markers used in tracing books don't fit through it. The primary purpose for this purchase was to get my child started on good holding pattern ,while he does the tracing workbooks,which isn't doable with these grippers. However, if the needed to be used only with pencils,it may work out.Will not work with markers etc.The finger holes are good and like that there is a loop in the back to place the middle finger while writing.We haven't used the dolphins yet,but they do look cute.

Literally broke a pen and pencil. I put the grips on initially too high, as I attempted to slide it down, it broke my pencil. I thought maybe the pencil isn’t sturdy enough so I tried it with a pen, as soon as I tried to twist the grip to fit my fingers for comfort the pen broke. Sooooo I just give up. The packaging was cute though

The material is not what I expected.Some of the grips were torn and also the dolphins they are very thin no support or cushion whatsoever for fingers as we tried them.I am not at all satisfied. The item says it has a satisfaction guarantee or full refund policy, contacted the seller and responded to my message and just disregarded regarded the card the packaging has that states you can contact them if you’re not satisfied.

This little gizmo literally taught my grandson how to hold the pencil. Before, he was constantly dropping it or holding it incorrectly. We were both frustrated. But he loves using his little finger basket now and well, it was a game changer for him!

Working with my son over the summer with his holding his pencil correctly. I definitely recommend this I don’t know if it was luck but got this for under 4 dollars . Definitely money well spent.

My kids are obsessed with the dolphin ones. The butterflies feel like good quality too. The best part was the cute presentation. It made me smile that they would put that much thought into packaging pencil grips.
