AXE Speedy 64GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive, optimal Read speeds up to 400 MB/s, Write speeds up to 155 MB/s

If you do a lot of file transfers this is ideal. Great for things like photos and files ut really useful for playing stored HD videos without actually transfering them to the device you're viewing them on. For exampke on friends computer, TV or tablet.

Very nice drive with advertised specifications (for the 256GB model I ordered) of up to 400 MB/s sequential reads and up to 200 MB/s sequential writes. As can be seen from the attached screenshot of CrystalDiskMark, the 256GB drive meets the advertised maximum read speeds and almost doubles the advertised maximum write speeds at over 350 MB/s writes (though each particular unit may vary). Was not expecting this level of performance, as even the 512GB version of the drive only has 300 MB/s advertised sequential write speeds!Aside from the speeds, the USB drive is relatively small and nicely finished in a metal casing that has a nice weight to it and the red drive activity indicator LED is useful to have. I managed to get three of these for £8.14 each which was an absolute steal, but even at the price I paid for all three, a single drive would still have been good value in my opinion!

Easy to use and very fast transferring data

Rather than open up a second hand iMac I got for my elderly mum to use, I just stuck this stick in the back and installed macOS onto it, because we were using a standard cheap USB stick before. It's seriously fast - no more beach balling - with awesome build quality, which is a bit of a shame because it never gets seen! The built-in LED is also handy for knowing if the machine is actively reading/writing to it.If the price is right I have no hesitation recommending this great USB drive.

I've bought both the AXE Superb and Speedy thumb drives and they are similar in terms of speed - decent read and write speeds that don't slow down over time - the Superb is very well built and probably worth the extra cost if it is going to get abused - otherwise the Speedy provides the same performance but made of lighter plastic.

I was very happy with my USB flash drive: very compact, good capacity and really fast. Seemed like good value for money.Unfortunately, after 2 months of use it has abruptly stopped working across all my devices, including my two laptops and the TV. Despite attempting to format it, none of my devices can even recognise the drive anymore, so I couldn’t even try it. I've lost my files in the process and the drive is left unusable, so I need to buy a new one again.I appreciate these things can happen in rare cases but I contacted the company's support twice but they never came back to me. Since then, I realised that there are more people who had the same problem in the reviews, but no solution is offered. I'd have expected my flash drive to last for more than a couple of months of use. Very disappointed with this item and the company's lack of support.
