Perfect
Just what is required when you have a 12v motherboard RGB port. Super simple to connect and works perfectly. Gives me more control over my fans instead of using molex.

Does as described.
Edit on original review: since leaving my original review the company contacted me and immediately sent a replacement, which arrived 2 days before it was expected and I'm happy to say works as it should. Syncs to motherboard.Does work with msi mystic light software but best to be kept on steady as I found it struggles with breathing or flashing cycles and also lacks some of the colours that mystic light cycles through, but that's to be expected as cant convert a 12v rgb to a true 5v argb socket no matter what you do. But if like me you brought a argb cooler or fans and realised you only have rgb socket on MB then this will definatley do the job you need it to. Simple to sync to MB. One tip mystic light doesn't see my cooler (msi mag coreliquid 240r) as plugged in but when I change the cycle or colour of my MB leds it also changes the cooler lights too.

Great Value
My motherboard didnt have a 5v argb header, bought this and it took around 15 minutes to install (because all of my fans are piggy backed onto it) and it is amazing. Would definitely recommend if you have an older board with just an rgb header.

Wroks as it should, but resets effects after PC restart.
This converter works really well, and is the only one i could find that actually converted the 12V JRGB to 5V ARGB. The built in effects look good, but after PC restart they reset to the MB synch, so you have to click through them again. Works with MSI mystic light well.PROS:Works fine with MB synchSmall sizeNice built in effectsNot hard to installCONS:Resets built in effects after PC restart.SATA cable could be a bit longer. No way to mount it in case with screws.

Easily connects to MSI JRGB motherboard connector
It connects easily to my motherboard (B450 Tomahawk Max). I had a little issue figuring which way around the 4 pins connect but I guessed the arrow to point to the power rail (4pins: 12v, r, g, b) and it seems to work correctly through all the colours to match my motherboard's backlight.

Broke my fan
Never buying again. As soon as i plugged my fans in it instantly fried the leds in one of my fans and wont change colour, it just stays red the while time

Did the Trick
Making a build with B450 Mortar Max (12v rgb headers only) and this allows either mobo control or in built manual control with the reset or LED button (if case has one).Paired with 6 Thermalright fans, easy to setup.

It dint work for what I originally wanted BUT....
So, this dint work for what I originally wanted, which was for some TRZM Uni Fans, for a budget build i was doing for my daughter, which explains my rating. They dint work on my Lian Li Uni V2 Fans either. Nothing happened, despite me trying to sync them and what not. Everytime, i connected them up the blue light disappeared, almost like it wasn't providing enough power. On my lian li fans, I had to use the controller, the blue light stayed on, but nothing still happened. I have a Z370 ASUS PRIME A.HOWEVER, it the darkness of my frustration I managed to put it to use. I got a 2nd PC, my wife's, installed a deepcoller ak400 digital, that uses a digital screen to display temps, it uses a ARGB. So since her MB only has a RGB header, this came into use and now it lights up. However...no RGB...which the cooler does have. wife's got A B450 TOMAHAWK.Tried the TRMZ Uni fans on her MOBO, nothing worked either. So yeah, it works, perhaps maybe not on all MOBOS and all fans as such, but it works.
