Expensive but works well
I have a rescue cat with neurological issues who has always had difficulty eating certain foods like kibble or chunky wet food in gravy. Either he can't see the food or he has poor spatial awareness (probably both), which causes him to miss the bits he tries to eat but instead pushes it all out of the bowl onto the floor or out towards the sides of the bowl.Normally he gets frustrated because he can't get hold of the bits and gives up, or thinks there's nothing left to eat.I'm happy to say this has transformed the way he eats. Even if he does push food out towards the edges of the bowl it tends to fall back into the centre, so he always knows where to find it. Very little ends up on the floor now and he seems to get far less frustrated when eating.Just a shame they are so expensive, and that it seems impossible to buy the stainless insert on its own.

Look good and the cat likes them.
Bought two red ones first, liked them and bought two green ones later. No objections from a normally fussy and suspicious cat; she ate from them straight away. She's getting on a bit and has kidney disease, so I was looking for something that would raise her eating bowls a bit for easier access. This does that and tilts the food forward a bit to try and make it even easier to eat from. The metal bowl is also quite wide, so she can stick her face in without squashing her whiskers. She also seems to like to approach it a bit from the side sometimes instead of always from the front. That eating position also works well. The metal insert bowl has a mirror finish, so cleans very easily and the little tag at the side makes it easy to lift out for washing. I've noticed that there is also less mess with these bowls. Because they slope forwards with a highish back, food doesn't get pushed over the edges anywhere near as much as with normal bowls. They seem like a hit with the cat and they look good. Recommended.

the image doesn't say much about size (maybe it is in the description somewhere but i just looked at the pics) so wasn't sure if
expensive but worth it.the image doesn't say much about size (maybe it is in the description somewhere but i just looked at the pics) so wasn't sure if it would hold a full sachet of food easily (was seriously considering buying the larger bowl). but it does. holds one standard sachet easily. but not so good for water.the removable stainless steel bowl is highly polished and food slips around easily ending up dead centre. many have said that it is good for a cat who always leaves bits of food in the corner. hmmm. now my cat just leaves a bit in the centre of the bowl. it just always leaves about teaspoon full of food - even if i have been out all day and it is really hungry and begging for a second sachet!but the best is it is really aesthetically pleasing. it is just beautifully crafted. heavy, solidly made and lovely to handle. even if the cat hasn't noticed i smile when using it.

Expensive but worth it for fussy cats
Bought as a last ditch attempt to stop our cat's habit of pawing his food out of the bowl onto the floor, having read that this might be due to the discomfort caused by the shape of typical cat food bowls. We didn't expect much, since our cat is as contrary as the rest of his species, but to our surprise it seems to have worked. A little expensive for what it is and on the large side, but worth it to know our cat is more comfortable (and to avoid spending every morning and evening scrubbing cat food off the floor).

Not cheap, but looks great and is perfect for cats
A bit overpriced for what it is, but I knew this already when I made the decision of buying it. That being said, it’s made of heavy, thick Perspex and has a removable metal bowl that makes it really easy to clean. The shape is perfect, especially if you’ve got one of those cats that once they’ve eaten the food in the middle of the bowl they think it’s empty. It’s shallow and has the perfect shape to avoid this. Plus, it is a bit raised, making it even easier for your cat to eat out of it.It’s expensive for a cat bowl, but it looks great and it’s functional, so I would say it’s definitely worth it!

Beautiful and does the job for your precious feline friend
Beautiful design. My cat took to it straight away, I feel that it does help with posture when eating, for example my cat had to sit and bend her front legs when using a normal bowl on the ground, with this it feels like she doesn't have to bend them so much. Also she does not have to chase her food to the edge of the bowl with risk of it slipping off and have her poor teeth clamp on the edge of a ceramic bowl, as with the Lordly Manners bowl the food more or less stays central. The bowl is a lot more generous in size than it looks, which is great. Not sure how well the inner stainless steel bowl will stay shiny and not tarnish (even for stainless steel, yes) as have only washed it a few times. This is well worth the investment I think!

I order two of these for my Siberian kittens (7 & 5 months). They look well made, are larger than I expected and the aesthetic is far more pleasing than your standard cat bowl. It's early days but so far the boys seem to like them. The elevated and tilted height appears more comfortable for eating (not that they voiced any complaints before).I have two reasons for only giving 4 stars - firstly the price - £30 for two car bowls seems excessive. And secondly I would have felt them more worth the price had the arrived with a replacement metal insert so you can use one and wash one.
