Comprehensive book
This is a comprehensive guide for anyone that wants to get into the affiliate marketing game. I have been in affiliate marketing for 4 years, and I think that this information is very detailed.I really like that you are given a lot of affiliate programs to sign up with. That's one of the hard parts about affiliate sales- finding the thing you need to sell. Also, I liked that the author pointed out you shouldn't try to sell everything out there. That's definitely a rookie mistake. It is confusing to the audience. Also, I thought the author really did a good job explaining how to market yourself and brand who you are. Affiliate marketing is so much more than just selling a product. People have to learn to trust you, before they buy from you.Overall, if you are trying to get into affiliate marketing, you will find a lot of good information in this book. I thought it was well written.

General & Basic
I was pretty disappointed in this book. It was very general and basic. Much of the content can be found by doing a Google search and reading a variety of blogs and articles on this topic. It didn't add anything beyond what you can already find online. If you're willing to take the time to do some Google searches, do that and just skip the book.

Great Guide on Tapping into a Potential Internet Goldmine
I really wish I had found Affiliate Marketing by Noah Gray and Michael Fox before my first, very brief attempt at affiliate marketing through Amazon’s program. This book is thorough, relatively easy to understand, and, most importantly, contains virtually everything you could want to know about this money-making opportunity. From the definition of affiliate marketing and getting started to mistakes to avoid and details on specific programs and networks, Gray and Fox answer every question I had about affiliate marketing and more.I found the chapters defining affiliate marketing and the advantages and disadvantages of the business to be most helpful for those trying to get a good grasp on the concept. The sections on getting started will prove very helpful to those who are certain that they wish to start an affiliate marketing business, but I think that these other chapters will be most important for deciding to pursue the opportunity in the first place.Overall, the writing is smooth and easy to follow. Even people who are not particular savvy when it comes to computers and the Internet (I am personally very unfamiliar with this aspect of technology) will be able to read this book without many problems. While the topic necessitates the use of technical terms, Gray and Fox make certain to define all the terms. Even when they do not, their writing helps readers to easily decipher the meanings from the context.I only really had one problem with this book. I would have preferred a slightly different structure. Namely, I would have liked to have the advantages and disadvantages of affiliate marketing to accompany the definition and history of the business. After all, what’s the use in reading about how to start an affiliate marketing business if you do not think that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?I also noticed a handful of proofreading errors. Still, these errors did not detract from the reading experience and so are not as impactful on the value of the book as the structure is.All in all, I think the book is a must-read for anyone looking to start an affiliate marketing business. In fact, people who need affiliate marketers to help promote their products and services should check this book out as well. Gray and Fox may focus on people looking to become affiliates, but people on the other end of the process will also need information such as where you can find affiliate networks and how affiliate marketers can/should be paid.

Gray does a great job breaking down topics like algorithms that are used ...
I always thought that I knew all there was to know about Affiliate Marketing, boy was I wrong! This book was just what I needed to discover all that I do not know about Affiliate Marketing. Gray does a great job breaking down topics like algorithms that are used online. I was unaware of how most of these are used, so this book helped to open my eyes up to that! Great read!

Overly Simplistic and Entirely Unhelpful
I found this book to be mind-numbingly stupid. The author writes like a 5th grader (and not a very good one at that). For example, in the section where he's discussing different niches, he says things like "Travel is a good niche because people always want to go somewhere and see new things." No analysis, no sources, just a simplistic explanation. There are plenty more examples like this but I think you get the point.I didn't bother reading past chapter 3 and returned it for a refund.
