After doing so the bottle is vacuum sealed as good as new
This little device is the wine stopper of the future with its sleek design that is full of features. As such my first experience with it was a bit awkward, because I didn't quite have the precision to vacuum seal it. I thought that maybe my wine bottle had the wrong opening for this, but this wine stopper does require a few more seconds of work to seal a bottle. The trick to using it is to push the bottom on top a few times to push all of the air out and the stopper in. After doing so the bottle is vacuum sealed as good as new, except with a little less wine. Additionally you can set the date on the stopper to keep track of when the bottle was last sealed.In general I greatly prefer wine stoppers to trying to recork the bottles. They are easier to use and more effective for me, because they don't fall out or have loose seals. This is an improvement on the traditional stopper that I already own, because of its ability to remove all of the air rather than just preventing more from reaching the wine. It it is still easy to use and looks nice in my fridge. A small difference that this vacuum stopper has over the other model is that it fits shorter on the bottle making it easier to keep the bottles in my fridge.I received this product at a promotional price in order to test it my reviews are honest and unbiased.

Nice looking but doesn't fit any bottles
Haven't been able to use... I think perhaps I received a defective one as it doesn't look like the ones from other buyers shared pictures

Keeps losing vacuum in just a very few short hours. Not really happy with it, wish I hadn't wasted the money.

The stainless steel is quality-made, heavy and sturdy. It's easy to use--just fit it into your wine bottle, pump it until it won't pump anymore (the top will go down inside quite a bit) and your wine will stay fresh for a long time after opening it. Right now as I write this review I am sipping wine that I corked with this stopper over a week ago, and it is still fresh and sparkly. This is truly the latest, greatest way to keeping your open wine bottles fresher, longer. I used to try to stuff the corks back in, and I do have regular stoppers which work fairly well, but pumping the air out is the best idea yet. Plus it also looks classy and upscale--a great extra touch for when you're serving your friends those special wines from the local winery. Removes air; seals great
We're using this vacuum stopper to replace a non-vacuum stopper that would just rest in the neck of the bottle. A bit of backstory... my wife drinks a single glass of red every evening. After a couple weeks of using it, she says the wine definitely tastes fresher than before by the time she gets to the end of the bottle.It very easy to use... just cram it into the bottle and push down on the button a half-dozen times. When the button stops popping back up you know you've removed the air and created a vacuum seal. To remove the stopper, just twist and pull to break the seal.Ledovi provided a complimentary vacuum stopper for review purposes.
