While the aluminum channel houses and protects your LED strips from dust and physical contact, the milky/oyster-white channel cover diffuses the harsh brightness and spotty intensity of the LED lights themselves. The cover softens the 'spottiness' of LED strip lights, overall generating a more consistent and uniform light, such as a "light bar" or "neon effect." The cover simply snaps in place for ease of installation and disassembling. LEDdrop U-Shaped Aluminum Channels can be applied to surfaces (mounted or, if not required, unmounted), and can be embedded as well. Additionally, LEDdrop includes two types of mounting clips -- both steel and plastic -- giving you more control over your design and mounting options.
