Just what I need for my dreads. This will make is so much faster than traditional elastic ties that are hard to loop around a long dread. I haven’t used it yet but can tell it’s not going to snap and break easily. May update once I’ve installed.

TRUELY HELPFUL, THANK YOU
So far I have only used the elastic matrix but, it works great to keep the ends of my braids down on the dreads so much better than just rubber bands. I had my left hand amputated in 2017, so I can no longer put my own extensions in but, the Doctored Locks videos were a super help for my hubby to learn to braid my dread extensions in for me. My hubby went from barely being able to do a normal braid in my 8 yr old daughter's hair, to being able to put my SE dreads in really well(they stay in for weeks without slipping). I just ordered some backcombed DE dreads from Doctered Locks to try. With the help from your videos my hubby is sure to make them look great when he puts them in. Your videos made it so easy for my hubby to learn and made it possible for me to wear extensions again. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🖤 I can't wait to receive my new set of dreads this week

My Order shipped really quick and is exactly what I wanted ... My first order from Dr. Locks was probably back in 2006 when I was Stationed in Germany. And I have even ordered from them while on Military Deployment ... They have always been consistent and products are top notch and great prices. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I like this but..
I ordered this after watching the Doctored locks video on how to use it with synthetic dreads. I really like how thin it is and I use it to wrap around and keep the stray ends of my own hair from sticking out from the fake dreads. However, even if you pull very tight and knot it, in my opinion, it's not strong enough to be the only thing used to hold your hair in place. I still need to use rubber bands to do the main job holding my dreads on. Nothing wrong with the product, but I had hoped it was a bit stronger.

I bought this along with dread extensions and tool kit for my wife cause she wanted dreads.. I was kinda nervous bc I didn’t know what or if this was what she needed. I really like this product. The knots can come undone as with any elastic string. Just use more than you think you will need and uses multiple knots. It can be a learning curve but over all I really enjoy this product 🖤

Must have for synthetic dreadlock extensions.
I wanted to get synthetic dreadlocks put into my hair. When I took the elastic thread, into the salon, the stylist had never used it before. She was very impressed with the product. It was essential to my dreadlock installation and easy to use in comparison to the tiny elastic bands that is traditionally used. The Elastic Matrix thread held my hair tight to the synthetic dreads. In fact, the stylists asked where she could buy some, she liked it so much.I highly recommend this product. I received it quickly.
