Princess Truly in I Am Truly Paperback – August 24, 2015

I love this series. I wish I had sprung for the hard cover because my Hannah loves this book and this series. My heart broke when my three year old told me she couldn't be a "real" princess because "her hair wasn't right" referencing all the cartoon and American TV and media images of Caucasian princesses. Outside of Tiana, who married into her princess title... it was hard to find anything to show her that princesses come in all colors and nationalities... with all sorts of different clothes. Princess Truly let her know "she can be anything." And we also went to the library to get other books about real princesses from around the world. We can't wait for more Truly books!

My granddaughter will turn 3 in July and has been reading age appropriate books on her own for about 3 months. I was a little concerned this book my be too far advanced (she can't read this on her own) but my daughter says she understands the story. She absolutely loves the Princess Truly Series (I bought all three) and I'm hope the author will write more. The books are about a little girl who can do everything, and it's so important to empower girls with a positive message from an early age. I hope mothers of all backgrounds and ethnicities will purchase this book for their daughters. Thank you Ms. Greenawalt!!

Absolutely adorable, cute, happy character with a great attitude. My first graders loved it! I shared it with the school librarian and she bought all of the Princess Truly books for our school!

This is the most adorable book. I bought it as a Christmas present for my 18 month old niece. My sister read it and said that she would love it especially the "ROAR." It teaches little ones to see that they can do anything they put their minds to. That all they have to do is believe in themselves and do it. I would recommend this to anyone who has little ones around. I will be buying the rest of the books for my niece!

This book is so so cute! I purchased as a gift and I am sure I will purchase again in the future if I have another little "Truly" to purchase for.

I love the Princess Truly books!! I often tell my daughter she has magical hair just like Princess Truly and I tell her she has amazing hair!! Princess Truly is a great character!!!!!!

This is such a cute book but I'm wondering if I'm missing something. I have 4 blank pages at the end. Can anyone tell me if I'm supposed to have more pages after what I have pictured.

This book was wonderful! The art is adorable, the rhymes are clever, and the message is inspiring. It's filled with imagination and empowerment. My daughter loves it too!
