This is perfect for what I need! I saw Monty Don use something similar to scoop out "compost" aka potting soil in the US. I had been using a trowel but always it made a mess on the floor, ground, etc. This does the job perfectly! Where has this been all my gardening career! No fuss, no mess. Great for scooping potting mix, compost, etc. So good, I bought a second one. Yes, I am one of those gardeners that uses things in the garden, puts it somewhere and then can't remember where I put it! So, I have a second one where I always know where it is if I can't find the first one (which is usually in my potting soil bag!). These are great!

Works perfectly for scooping potting soil out of the bin in which I keep it! Wish I had gotten one of these a long time ago. Is good quality and easy to use. Just what I needed!

I holds approx. 2 cups, so if youre moving soil, you might want something bigger for that. This would be good for perlite
