Works great
The media could not be loaded. Seems to be good quality and has been working fine for 4 months. Runs all day and I unplug it at night if I remember to. I used it to make a cheap bird bath fountain out of an old bowl I bought in Italy 25 years ago. I just set it on top of a $9 plastic pot from Lowe's that is filled with dirt, then added rocks to the bowl. The filter motor makes no noise and I can adjust the height of the water easily to hear it splash or not. I clean the intake once a week with a toothbrush because using it outside, it does get clogged with debris. A powerful little pump thatβs easy to install and suction cups hold it to the bowl. The birds enjoy it too.

Works great
Works better than original pump that went out. Water flow is better and it's not loud at all. Cord is plenty long enough and install pretty easy

Good Lil' Water Pump π
A good little water pump at a fair price. I bought this to replace the pump in the cat's water fountain which had finally quit working. This lil' pump was the perfect solution to get the water fountain back up and running (much to the cat's delight π ). The size was almost exactly the same as the old one, making changing them out quick and easy. This new water pump has just the right amount of power to provide the water flow needed (set at 50% water flow rate). The functionality of the pump is simple and intuitive... just set the flow rate adjustment (located on the side of the pump) to the desired level, submerse in water, plug it in, and you're all set. The cord length is just right in my opinion... allowing enough length to use the pump for a variety of applications. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is due to the pump's outlet being fairly small and not having an adapter or hose included. I personally just did a quick mod using a large diameter drinking straw... problem solved π All in all, this seems like a decent water pump so far... and it did the job that I needed it for. We'll see how long the lifespan is on this (I'll post an update after using it for awhile longer). For now... thanks for reading this review π

Replaced broken motor in my tabletop fountain
Happy that I was able to easily replace my tabletop fountain motor when it broke after 5+ years. Just connected it to hose, plugged in and it was good! Quiet when submerged. Good value and delivered fast.

A super workhorse of a pump for a shallow birdbath!
After trying many submersible pumps in my birdbath this is one of the few that I have encountered that fully submerges and thus doesn't always suck air.On top of that it has the highest power of any fully submerged pump, spraying water more than 5 inches above itself! Only much larger pumps that can't fully submerge in my birdbath and are always sucking air have similar or higher power. In the month or so that I have had this, it has only been necessary to disassemble once for a cleaning.Disassembly was trivial: unplug, pop off cover.Cleaning only requires rinsing accumulated "muck" off in water (birdbath water was fine for this as I was going to completely drain dirty water and refill with fresh before plugging the reassembled pump back in). Will have to wait through summer and fall to evaluate performance in winter's freezing temperatures, so expect an update to this review early in 2024.

Adequate, but noisy
I bought this as a replacement pump for my Catit Daisy Water Fountain. It works okay, but: 1. it only has two suction cups instead of four on the bottom, so it doesn't stay in place as easily as others; 2. it is quite noisy; 3. it has a simple 2-prong plug instead of an adaptor, so I had to cut the Fountain mounting to feed the cord from the motor through the guide to the outside.
