Read each in one sitting. No one’s likeable. I have a strong feeling I’d hate these people in real life. I was so mad at them the entire time and yet i couldn’t stop reading. Great cover design and appreciate them being sold together.

As for the print and covers - these are good size, nice colour and the inside is nice and easy to read. However these book are very not floppy - you really need to hold them open with both hands to read.As for the content - those two (especially Normal people) are too of the best books I’ve read recently. Sally Rooney writes beautifully and depicts emotions in a very original and accurate way. I’ve seen both shows before reading and loved them, and I feel like the books really compliment the shows, adds to the experience and to better understanding the characters and story.

To be fair, I became interested in this because I watched the series of Normal People on Hulu. I loved the show so I bought the book, and it was nothing short of everything I felt while watching the series. I absolutely LOVE the way Sally Rooney writes. It is so real, the voice and tone makes you feel really connected with the characters. I’m very picky when it comes to writing and I fell in love with Rooney’s style. These books were equal parts amazing. I loved Conversations with Friends so much. I WILL SAY, both books leave you saying wtf???? I wanted more, I wanted a conclusive ending. But that seems to be a trend with her writing. I want more!!! Buy these

love these editions, I always liked the UK covers more. another review said they were stiff/not very floppy and I do agree but that doesn’t bother me all that much. AND the stickers shown on each cover can be taken off!
