I am not one for getting excited by domestic appliances. Did this Vacuum excite me? No it didn't.However, I must admit to being impressed with its performance, given that it is a hand held battery model, and I can fully understand why it has such high ratings.I had just got fed up humping my old Vacuum about, the cables and tubes really were getting on my nerves, despite the fact that it is so powerful it is capable of lifting rugs off the floor.The power on this machine doesn't come close to that, but it is more than adequate for my twice weekly buzz round. The motorised head does a more than adequate job at giving the floors a fair brushing and the suction is strong enough to make sure everything is sucked up.There was some charge in it when it arrived, so I took it for a quick spin round the Living room, Dining area and hall and a few bottom steps. I didn't time myself, but it was on Full Power all the time and there was still charge left in it when I was finished.It feels sturdy, without being overly heavy and the attachments are very good.It doesn't make 'Hoovering' more enjoyable, as if it ever was, but it certainly makes it more convenient and as a result I will be more inclined to do it more often.Great value for money and I am very pleased that I got one.In the event that I find myself needing a bit more 'Muscle,' I'll will just get the 'Beast' out of the cupboard !! Lol.

I’ve had this a couple of weeks (so can’t attest to how long-lived it will be), but so far, it’s been the best vacuum I’ve ever had. I hate, hate, hate cleaning and I couldn’t care less if my house matches the hygiene standards of an operating theatre. My standard is that if the place looks reasonable and no one is dying of cholera, my house is as clean as I care to have it—I have more interesting things to do with my time than clean.This little cleaner is powerful enough to get up the rubbish from hard floors and area rugs (which is all I have). It gets up pet hair (we have three) and deals with the muck my husband drags in (never learnt to wipe his feet). It gets into corners without having to use the included crevice attachment (can’t be bothered) and although it’s powerful enough for my purposes, you can still use it on a small mat without watching the thing disappear into the bowels of the vacuum. If I compare it to the heavy and expensive German vacuum I bought—thinking that if I bought something powerful and pricey, my cleaning headaches would be over—this is far, far better: the big heavy machine sucks so powerfully that I can only use it on the curtain setting (who vacuums their curtains?) and even on that setting, I’m exhausted after battling with it for even five minutes, despite being 5’8” and physically fit. This little vacuum does as good a job, as far as I can see, with less effort and even copes with stairs more easily than my old hand vac.If your life revolves around cleaning, maybe this isn’t for you. As a ‘near enough’ housekeeper who hates spending time on cleaning, this is a game changer: light, manoeuvrable, effective and way, way cheaper than a Dyson.

I bought this to get my lazy husband to help to clean around the house, here’s what we found:PROS:-PORTABILITY: it’s great for quickly cleaning the house without the need to plug in any cords-BATTERY LIFE: out of the box the battery lasts long enough to clean a 2 bed flat-EASE OF USE/MAINTENANCE: Makes daily cleaning effortless-SPRE PARTS: the maker’s website sells a wide range of spares at an affordable price-SIZE: it’s small enough that it can easily be hidden out of sightCONS:-WEIGHT: it’s fairly lightweight, and it’s easy to use around the house, but for extended use it will put a strain on your wrists-NOISE: it’s a lot quieter than our trusted Henry, but still noisier than we expected-SUCTION: this will not replace your big vacuum, as suction just doesn’t compre, but it will make daily cleaning a breeze. Also, I feel this is unsuitable for carpets or houses with pets.-STURDINESS: dissent feel like it will last a long time if you’re not careful with itWOULD WE BUY AGAIN?Yes! It’s a great little vacuum, and it’s ideal if you have a busy life/kids and you don’t want to spend a lot of time cleaning the house, and it gets the husband to clean around too! Don’t expect this to replace your big vacuum, but it will complement it.

I never write reviews but I had to on this product so others don’t make the same mistake I did in purchasing this vacuum. It’s a waste of money, horrible suction, constantly gets blocked so everything you vacuumed falls straight out, you have to constantly take it apart. Again the suction is terrible you go over the floor numerous times and you can see all the bits on the floor and with a toddler it’s not ideal. Waste of money. I’ve had to purchase another vacuum from a different reliable store from a well known brand. Don’t waste your money and instead purchase something you know will actually do the job.
