If you are asking, what is going on for my child - this is the book for you!
Years ago my pediatrician looked at me and said, "You have one of the most challenging kids I've met." Today no one would say that. Learning what is in this book was a major contributor to my child's success. This is the best source to figure out what is or is not part of your kids' picture. Please clinicians get this book because, as a parent, I would have loved it if my local practitioner had been my guide. I didn't have that someone in person. I am glad that using this resource gives me confidence that I have covered the bases, understand, and have gotten the support my child needed; and the kid is doing great!

Great book for parents to understand the steps to supports and services in schools
I felt that the book was very down to earth yet comprehensive enough for parents and educators to understand a child with ADHD along with the next steps to services and supports both educationally and socially emotionally.

Wonderfully insightful text to help enlighten college professors
As a professor in the hospitality field, the majority of my students are young people, in their late teens & early twenties. As they navigate their way through college, these students face tremendous obstacles to their mental health as well as their physical growth. Often it has been perplexing to diagnose their difficulties in the classroom. However, with this text, it is so much easier to identify and better understand what could be going on in their lives. Having wondered many times if ADHD was the factor, I now have a concise, thorough and user friendly tool to help me understand the situation more clearly. The checklists are extremely helpful in defining symptoms. Professor Barbara Bobbi Taylor, M.S.

Forget google and buy the REAL THING!
I appreciate this book so much that I actually brought an Amazon link to my pediatrician because he has been a great support to me and yet has a great deal more that he can learn. I am an ADHD advocate and speak with many adults and parents to children with ADHD and often recommend this book as a touch point for understanding the full picture, comorbid diagnoses, and getting to know one’s own personal complex journey with Adhd. Having a guide like this is really helpful and takes out the overwhelming google searches that lack reputable sources. Dr. Carrocia has blown out of the water! Thank you for making this available!

This is all you need to know when evaluating ADHD
The key word in describing Dr. Carroccia's book, Evaluating ADHD in Children and Adolescents: A Comprehensive Diagnostic Screening System, is 'comprehensive.' Following Dr. Carroccia's system will assure clinicians that they have increased the likelihood of making an accurate diagnosis and directing their patients to the most effective treatments." - Alan R.
