Nice, quality tank.
This tank was a perfect fit for me. I needed to add a reservoir to my convertible top hydraulic system. Without this, I was forced to remove the rear seat from my '02 Mustang and inject ATF into a cramped area at the pump. I now have a tank with a vented cap located in my trunk. No more removing the seat.Vented cap and lack of a screen element (not even sure why you want one) was certainly not an issue. I do not need a vacuum being created in the tank, this is a gravity system.You could drive a tank over this, I believe. BTW, it has two mounting holes.

High Quality
Very pleased with the quality. Couldn't use it for my current project but my partner said he would buy it from me after he saw the reservoir. What I need is a triple reservoir version of this product.

It was the wrong size for what I needed. But it was made very well.

I was looking for a remote brake fluid tank and this answered the need nicely. Just a clean well made part.

Great item
Looks great, clean welds, definitely a quality product. Have not installed yet but its obvious it will function exactly as intended. Going in a 99 civic with a b series.

Nice quality reservoir but why the vented cap!
Really impressed with the build quality of this item but question having a vented cap when using fluids that are hydroscopic. Recommend sealing the cap. Other than that, can't go wrong with this item.

Check feed hole sizes! Otherwise really great product.
I bought 2 of these.I really like the quality of these reservoirs. High quality TIG welds. Looks like done on a rotating table. Threads good. Screw lids great.Now....missing the screen in lid as pictured in sale.The feed hole in bottom is advertised as 1/8th NPT.... one is that and the other is smaller.

Item misrepresented
The tank appears to be of decent quality, but the item I received lacked the sintered metal filter in the cap as shown in the pictures. Amazon suggested I resolve the issue with the product directly with the seller. I contacted the seller and was told they could not assist me as the item was bought through Amazon. I ended up returning the item and will look elsewhere for a similar reservoir.

Surprisingly nice for the price
No filter in the lid, but wasn’t expecting it. Nice welds, nice quality. No issues. Using it as remote mount brake fluid resovoir
