Superb. Incredible value for money.
I wanted a warm analog flanger and had read 50+ great reviews of this TC Thunderstorm, so thought I’d take a chance on it. I’m very glad I did. It’s a beautiful sounding flanger & good build quality. No volume loss & nice soft touch footswitch. It went straight on my board. Some folks say it’s quite large & I guess it is, but I actually really dig the look of it. We all love good value and this is incredible value at £40… Why pay more? An absolute gem!

Jolly nice, good quality, good value analogue flanger
Paid £29.99 12/20. So. In this time when everyone seems to have forgotten why we all loved flangers in the 70s and 80s, I found myself craving a replacement for my first model EHX Polychorus (with Flanger) which I stupidly parted company with many years back. Seeing that this is "all-analog bucket brigade" by a great maker at a good price I took the plunge. Firstly, it is very pleasingly well made. Soundwise it is very good: slightly disappointingly not so gritty-analogue sounding as I remember my old Polychorus to be but very good sounding none the less. The sound is surprisingly cultured and liquid with a dab of phaser creeping in there which could be marmite but there is enough range in the settings and enough usability throught the settings range to produce many usable sounds and to emulate the classic users such as Cult or Police to name but two.Summarising, I am very impressed with the pedal and even more so given the very reasonable price.

It does what it's supposed to do.
It's a great flanger! Simple, straight forward, no multifunctionalities, no magic effects, just and clearly a flanger! Very solid and does not degrade the sound in any way.

A very flexible pedal - wide variety of sounds!
This pedal is capable of producing a very wide variety of sounds from subtle swirling chords to psychodelic leads. You can get classic flanger sounds as well as settings which are closer to a traditional chorus and/or phaser pedal. With the depth, manual and feedback at maximum it almost sounds like autowah/filter. Note that the manual knob is at its maximum when turned all the way left - unlike the other three knobs which are at their max when all the way right...

Great quality, sounds awesome through the VOX
Arrived today. Fantastic product. Replaced an older 90's Yamaha flanger. So much better in quality and at such a great price... well chuffed! The build is really good.

It is sturdy and the footswitch is of the silent
I bought this to get a Ronnie Le Tekro type of notched filter sound to my signal. It does this quite well but I just didn't really find any other use for it aside from this and returned it.It is sturdy and the footswitch is of the silent, non-clicky, type. There are lots of Toneprints available but, I just feel that flanging isn't that much of a versatile effect and therefore I returned it and purchased the Corona Chorus instead.
