Fila Men’s Memory Meiera 2 Slip Resistant and Composite Toe Work Shoe

So let me start off with, I like the fit of this shoe. Feels and looks great. I spent one day wearing it out of the box before I realized that the insole inside the shoe is super cheap and super thin. I already knew this might be the case so I purchased some memory foam work ultra insoles for replacement. It was a night and day difference. The insoles I bought for $8.97+tax from Walmart are amazing when combined with these shoes. The shoes themselves look and perform great. Floor grip is amazing and shoe is SUPER light. The only downfall, like I previously stated, was the insoles, which can easily be replaced. I will update down the line on durability.

The Good:-Super lightweight-Shock absorbing soles-Inexpensive-ComfortableThe Bad:-Definitely an indoors-only sole!-Terrible in wet or cold weather-Toe box a little tight (for me)- Composite toe, but basically no protection for sides, heel and sole.-No removable insoleThese shoes are perfect for a warehouse-type environment, with smooth surfaces, climate control, and no real danger to your feet. The soles are super-squishy and the composite toe meets OSHA requirements, if nothing else. the rest of the shoe is basically soft fabric, so if you really need full-time protection, keep looking. My work involves being outside a lot of the time, on pavement and other rough surfaces as well as wet weather. Too much for this kind of shoe. After 3 months of use, the tread on the soles are almost gone and the bottom layer of rubber has started to peel off. A couple of times I have been caught in the rain and felt like I was wearing dish sponges on my feet lol. Overall I like the shoe, It just wasn't designed for my needs. Next time I will research better. Also, I would have like the option to switch out the insoles (they are glued in), but at this price I can't really complain about that. I'm giving 3 stars, mostly for the insoles and because Fila should make it more clear what this shoe can and cannot do.

These have no arch support so.plan on adding an aftermarket insert. I have had other brands that didn't hold up. These are good quality. Comfortable (with an insert) for all day wear. The only downside is the "tiny upside down mushroom" style sole design. If you are walking in sand or dirt at all, the sole traps a lot of dirt and then releases it in the house. I have adapted but it's a pain to take the shoe off every time I go through the house to get a tool, drink, etc.

4 month updateThey are still going strong, comfortable (with the manufacturers insoles too!) My feet can breathe souch better than with leather work boots. I walk miles every day and am on and off a forklift throughout the day. So far no rips or tears. I will definitely buy another pair.Ive worn work boots all my working life, but a back injury (per doc) made me wear a composite toe work shoe. Better support and ergonomics. For a thin insole, these are comfortable and lightweight. I took a gamble on sizing, fit me well, used my normal shoe size. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased these for my 14 yr old son, he picked them out. We didn't read through the description about them being work shoes. He tried them on and he was like NO! They are definitely worth the money and are a quality product. However my 14 yr old said I won't be able to run in these lol. This is the only reason why we returned them.

I love these shoes! The only thing I dislike a little is if u get snow on the bottom of them and walk on smooth concrete they are very slippery untill the snow is off of them. Also the tread on the bottom picks up little rocks and dirt. Other than that I love the way they look and feel when I wear them. And they are cheap!

Update. Had to down grade from three to two stars. The shoes did fit my long feet. The toebox was extremely too tight. After a few months I just couldn't wear them any more and tossed them.I wont be purchasing these again.I live how this shoe is nice and wide. Plenty of room for my size twelve feet. I dont like the inserts, they suck. They felt good the first day then my 200lb ass crushed them. So I ordered some inserts and we will see.

On my feet for 12 hours a day and these shoes not only hold their shape they keep me comfortable as well.

SOLO ESE DETALLE que se parecía en la foto se empeso a descoser o despegar el zapato izquierdo de la punta solo al primer día de uso le puse un poco de pegamento esperemos y dure bastante. Me gusto mucho el zapato a muy buen precio, es muy cómodo gracias a su plantilla, la talla es la correcta, del casquillo se siente algo estrecho pero n fue problema para mi gracias a que tengo pie delgado EXCELENTE PARA SUPERFICIES ACEITOSAS muy buen antiderrapante, la suela al tacto es algo rígida pero al caminar casi no se siente, tengo turnos de 12 horas y a comparación de otros zapatos de seguridad y con estos se siente la diferencia a final de turno es un descanso muy bueno para tus pies

Es el peor producto que he comprado en Amazon, no duraron ni un mes, se le hizo un hoyo en la plantilla, se rompió del talón en fin, no lo compren es un desperdicio de dinero

El producto es de excelente calidad en acabados, materiales de apariencia duradera, solo la parte delantera de la puntera tiende a rasparse con demasiada facilidad, los materiales del interior lucen resistentes al desgaste, la parte interna de la talonera requiere de refuerzo de tela, comodidad: excelente!Suela anti derrapes muy cómoda, un poco delgada considerando que son para jornadas laborales y el material tiene un grip bastante alto, considero que para un uso intenso y prolongado requiere un poco mas de material para garantizar una mayor duración!Relación valor-precio insuperable!Totalmente recomendables

Los uso para trabajar todo el día. Me cansó mucho menos que con el calzado convencional y además se ventilan muy bien por lo que padecerás menos de sudor y mal olor

Me quedaron perfectos, estoy muy agusto, los utilizo en el trabajo, su plantilla de foam los hace más cómodos y su tipo de suela no se resbala, tomando en cuenta que también traen casquillo en la punta, están perfectos.
