An extensive overview of one of the most fascinating contemporary architects
This is a beautiful volume, lavishly showcasing the work of Jeanne Gang and her team. I'm fortunate enough to live in Chicago, where many of her best-known works are located, and I've followed her career for years. In my opinion, she's one of the most important architects in the world: as the text suggests, her work is truly visionary (that's not just hype). And it's a Phaidon publication, which generally means the quality of the book will match the quality of the work contained within it.

Great ideas
This book is attractive and well designed with thick pages and print big enough to read. Gang’s work is very interesting and nice that someone is trying to create windows that birds will not crash into and people will not be blinded by the reflection. Was not wild about the shared balconies in residential buildings - we all need our privacy and don’t want to be part of a neighbor’s loud party.
