This stuff is great. My hair is fine, dense and straight. Need a little product just to give it some texture and definition. Most waxes have too much hold, and other pomades I've tried look terrible and weigh my hair down. This stuff gives my hair the perfect amount of hold and texture, and it is very light. Looks very natural in your hair too... I've found some pomades/waxes make your hair look loaded with product. This stuff really is the best product I've found for my hair. The Sumowax is grew too, I use it when my hair is short enough for wax. I've tried American Crew, Suavecito pomade, Layrite pomade, and none of them are as good as Semisumo. American Crew Forming Cream is decent, but a little too sticky. But just a heads up, if you are looking for a pomade like Suavecito and Layrite to slick your hair back like you're auditioning for Jersey Boys, Semisumo is not for you.

This is a very good hair product if you are looking for something that is lighter than most forming products. It sets lightly without the hard, “crunchy” feel of some hair forming products. My wife loves the way it feels in my hair and the scent.

My Hair Stylist recommended this product. A small dab will do. I mean small. Place a small dab on your palm and rub palms together. Then run palms through hair for a managed look.

I love this stuff. I have short, fine hair and I was looking for a product to just add a little something and keep it in place. I like my hair to look a little dirty and tousled, and this works well. The shine keeps it from looking genuinely dirty, and the hold is just strong enough to keep my tousling from turning into craziness throughout the day. It smells really good, too, and you only need a tiny bit so the jar should last quite awhile. This isn't really a product for your spikes, mohawks or fauxhawks, but I imagine it could be useful for almost anything else.

Sometimes you just want a shiny look on your hair! This product achieves that. It leaves your hair with shine but also really manageable. Will not get stiff! I only adds texture and shine. This stuff does what it says, it has more of a sheen than sumotech , but it is much stickier and has a strange composition that is very hard to get off. I ultimately threw it away for this reason. After applying it, I noticed I couldnt get the stuff off my hands even after using soap and water. it would take about 2 washes with soap to get it fully off my hands and even then it felt like there was a residue. Same thing when it was in the hair, very hard to get it fully out of your hair after. somewhat nasty sticky feel , no thanks. I wish they still had their thickening paste, that stuff was light and easy.

It took me a long time to find this for my short hair. I like texture but without stiffness, matte ness or awful stink. Thus obliged. Just enough light texturing to stop my hair bring fluffy and flat but it keeps a shine and it doesn’t smell!! Perfect

Worst product ever , it smells like paint thinner and completely made my hair stuck together and fall out , don’t waste your money on this crap.
