Wanted to see what the fuss is about, when it comes to water-heated mattress pads in Korea.Having used it for a week, I can say I am so far so impressed. Definitely warm. The WiFi app to control the pad works well. Installation was easy and the included cover is also high quality.

Amazon doesn't seem to want to post my review, but I will update it anyway in case they decide to allow it. My initial impressions could have been a LOT better.1) The heated pad slides into a "mattress cover" that in no way attaches to the mattress. It just sits on top of the mattress where it can move all over. Not a good design.2) The heated pad is a good foot smaller side to side and top to bottom than my King mattress. To make it worse the heated area is much smaller than the actual size of the pad. Not good.3) The brain is designed to be placed at the foot of your bed, NOT the nightstand as pictured here. There is a one meter long hose to connect the heated pad and the heater, which pretty much means the heater has to be placed in the middle of the foot of the bed. Not on the floor and not on carpet according to the instructions. I don't have a table, room for one or an electric outlet near where the heater is supposed to go. Not only not good, but the pictures are misleading.4) The woman I spoke to at tech support barely spoke English, and didn't understand the product. She was useless in understanding or answering my questions.For the price I expected a whole lot better than this. I'm sure it's not returnable since it's been opened, so I'm out big time. I absolutely don't recommend wasting your money on it.UPDATE: After sleeping on this for a week it's worse than I expected.The pad bunches up under you since it's not held in place in any way. When it bunches it does it where it was folded for shipping. This causes the water to stop flowing past that spot, which is about mid-back for me. The pad goes ice cold below that spot, this happens 4 to 6 times a night. I have to get up and strip the bed down to smooth the pad out. So, I'm getting a horrible nights sleep, not going more than 2 hours before having to fix the heating pad. I tried putting it under a mattress protector, but it still moves around and bunches up as it's not attached to the mattress protector.I finally got the app working, I had to uninstall it twice but now it does work.Overall I lowered my rating from two to one star, and would give it zero if I could. This is a HUGE waste of money, and I have no doubt will start leaking at one of the spots it's bunching up. I'm looking for a replacement, but I still have 6 months of payments on this thing.SECOND UPDATE: This heater is like putting a piece of cardboard or masonite on top of your mattress. I have the most expensive Tempurpedic mattress made, because I've got back issues. This heater takes all of the body conformation out of my mattress. Inside of about 3 weeks I ended up with a pinched sciatic nerve and $1,800 in doctor/chiropractor bills. I threw this thing in the trash. Still paying for it though.

First pros:It is quiet. I feared that it would be loud as it sits next to my bed on top of my bedside dresser, but it isn't. There is occasional gurgling of water as it heats and distribute water but was hardly noticeable (and I am a sensitive sleeper).Another thing I like is that it heats evenly and can be controlled with your phone. You can pre-warm it. And the heat is not scalding even when the mat is thin.It also has a washable cover you could remove to wash.I love that I dont have to wear ton of clothes to keep warm at night even when my heater is turned down to 61 degrees at night. Now I just wear a pair of thin pj and I am still warm and cozy when I wake in the morning.So what is the con and why 4 stars? There is one fault. The mat is so thin that when you have a soft mattress like mine. It does not lay flat and everytime you get out of bed, it gets creased and you have to strsighten it. I bought a sheetholder and that finally alleviated that problem but I went through several sheetholders to find the one that was strong enough to grip both the mat and its cover.

This product is a little bit more expensive than other products, but it worth. Cover included, and that cover is very nice quality. Everything works well, I am using every night nowadays.

I've had this system for about two years now. I have now relegated this to a spare bedroom and purchased an Eight Sleep mattress cover Pod 3 system. The biggest drawback on the EQM 580 system is mattress cover. It just lays on top of the bed and is not anchored to the mattress. Over time the cover bunches up in some areas and moves around the mattress. This causing the system to not heat the mattress cover properly. The Eight Sleep system is securely on the mattress. They sell two different encasements; one for short height mattresses and one for tall height mattresses. They then have two straps that go from one side to the other and a third strap that goes from the head of the mattress to the foot of the mattress. The pad then zips on the encasement. This is a much more secure design. Also on the EQM580, the mattress pad and the actual heating pad are only attached to each other at four points. I installed the king mattress pad on a queen bed and it is drapes over the sides just a bit but overall is a better on a queen than a king.Navien Mate could make their system much better by redesigning the pad portion. It need to be like a fitted sheet when it is put on the bed; like how the Eight Sleep system is. The pad that has the water going through it needs to be better anchored to the mattress pad it goes in; having an attachment point at only each corner really isn't sufficient. The head unit could stay the same, they should develop a new mattress pad and sell it as an upgrade for the older units.

After sleeping on the mat, I cannot imagine getting into a cold bed. Shoulders to feet are warmed. I wake up feeling balanced now and not angry that I have to get up. With the first few weeks, I would rather stay in bed because it felt so good. Now I am used to it, so I just wake up well-rested and happy. The mat is not a distraction. I purchased a Japanese electric mat that goes under carpet, but was using on my bed. I like this mat better because of the heated water instead of the electric wires. There is a gentle heat where I do not feel like I would get burned. Overall, I am very pleased with this product for improving my sleep. That makes it worth the price for me.Thanks go out to Youtuber Megan Bowen who mentioned the this product as an item to make it through winters in Korea.

It is easy to install. The function is excellent. Previous, my wife has used single mat and she said that it is excellent. I recognized that she was right.I have a question that i read the pictured wording on the delivered box. Could you explain it ? Why it is warning for cancer .It would be many people’s concerning .

Feels like hot speed bumps on your back. If that’s what you like then I would recommend the product. Figment is poor, service is poor. Just a waste of time. I rarely write reviews but this pissed me off too much. Good luck.
