Sip and savor fresh, flavorful coffee and espresso beverages created with the bonjour coffee chevron French press. Crafted from heat-resistant borosilicate glass, the carafe is encased in a protective stainless steel frame designed with striking chevron cutout patterns. Featuring a comfortable handle, easy-pour spout and gleaming stainless steel lid, the French coffee press makes an elegant service choice in the kitchen, at the table, or wherever it's enjoyable to unwind while savoring authentic coffee flavors. The patented flavor lock stainless steel filter system allows the brewing process to be stopped in the coffee press when the desired strength is reached, and a filtering lid helps reduce sediment in cups of espresso and gourmet coffee beverages like cappuccinos, mochas and lattes. Handwashing the glass French press is recommended to preserve its finish. This eye-catching 8-cup French press makes an ideal partner for bonjour' s milk brothers and other coffee items.

I love it because it looks good without looking too crazy ...
I love it because it looks good without looking too crazy (modern). I love that the plastic is minimal, the glass is replaceable and that the stainless steel is real stainless. Shiny like chrome and heavy (thick). The rubber handle is a nice touch. It feels nice and I won't get burned with it. The plunger operates solidly and the mesh screen was cut and centered on the strainer with perfection. Everything looks sweet, works fine and fits well.I have two problems. The plunger stops one inch from the bottom of the glass vessel. WHAT? Come on for saving an inch of rod? Hey BonJour! I don't use the 6 tablespoons of coffee they ask for. So as a result I can not "press" my 4 spoonfuls. Now I am looking for a SMALL CERAMIC COASTER to place in the bottom so I don't have to use 6 tel spoons of coffee in order to use my coffee to its fullest. I don't like waste. The other problem with this press is they put 3 dimples on the bottom piece of stainless steel. These 3 dimples serve as "feet" for the press. The problem is THREE dimples makes it a spill problem. 3 dimples only allows the thing to tip over and with hot coffee this is a real problem. Someone needs to look at this over there. You need at least FOUR dimples not 3. Basic physics here. Or ask a football player. Anyone will tell you that a three point stance is insufficient. I am hoping that with a full pot of coffee, it's weight will stabilize the press some. Or I will have to hack this problem with some silicone. This will stabilize it to my standards. Even no dimples would be better than the 3 it comes with.BonJour is a pretty big company. I see their products at Bed Bath and Beyond. That says something. Overall, the pro's outweigh the con's. I like the quality of the product enough to learn to live with it's minor deficiencies or make the hacks to fix them to my own liking.

Great while it lasted
This is a nice french press that is easy to use. Admittedly, I used it for drinking loose leaf tea multiple times a week. Just...be careful while washing it or it will break. This press only lasted me barely three months before I set it down too hard in the sink and it cracked completely around the glass. It wasn't a temperature issue either, I left it out overnight to cool off. It was nice that it didn't shatter everywhere and the glass is more heavy-duty than most, but if you're going to be using and handling it a lot you might be better off getting a stainless steel option and saving yourself the heartbreak I had when this broke on me.

Glass Breaks
I wanted to love it but the glass is just way to fragile. I've used it a handful of times and I'm very specific with how I use it. I only use those wooden chopsticks that you get from takeout to stir it. No metal touches it or anything heavy that hits the glass. I left it for 4 minutes and came back to it cracked. This is way to pricey to have ro replace the glass every 2 months.

Works great.
It works great. This is my second one. I have tried others but came back to this one. It is glass so you have to be a little more careful but it's the best.

Finally found it!
Love this! I really love how the plunger goes all the way to the bottom making it faster to pour my morning coffee. Most of the ones I had seen and tried left about an inch on the bottom of unpressed coffee grinds. That meant you had to leave that in the pot or wait for it to filter through. The BonJour does not stop the plunger from going all the way down so I get all the coffee I made and can be on my way sooner with my iced coffee in hand.

great buy
Bought this as a gift and my dad absolutely loves this. Its easy to clean and makes "the best cup of coffee you'll ever have" according to him. I was happy with the price and quality as well.

Love this French Press
This is a great product, easy to use and great for one or two people. It is a bit delicate when cleaning and can break if you put your whole hand inside. All you really need to do is just lightly clean and rinse. I know because this is my replacement.

my preferred way to brew coffee
This is my 3rd French Press, and my preferred way to brew my morning coffee. The consistent problem I have is the glass carafe is easy to break (hence French Press #3).
