I purchased it for a cosplay costume I'm putting together and I selected this product over a few other leotards available based on a number of factors, but one of the big ones in my final decision was the availability of a brand specific sizing chart. I've just received my leotard in the mail and tried it on and I'm very pleased with both the quality and the fit.Despite some reviews I've seen, all seams and stitching appear complete and feel like quality I expect from a name brand like Capezio.Leggs:I haven't worn it out yet, but the leg holes are not too high and the back doesn't seem to creep up like some leotards I've had do, I'm happy to see!Neck:Some previous reviewers mentioned that the neck was uncomfortable or restricting for them, and while I understand that some people have an aversion to having something snug around their neck, this does not bother me. It is a sturdy fabric sewn into a turtle neck, it is very close fitting, but it is not "tight" or any more constricting that I wold expect of any similarly constructed garment.Zipper:It seems to be a good quality zipper with a nice pull that won't snag too easily, although I would note that the zipper is sewn in such that the back of the turtle neck cannot be unfolded. The front can be flipped up all the way, but the back is immovable.I also saw a complaint about the zipper poking the hairline, and I must agree that it is true. The top of the zipper hits me at my hairline in the back and I can feel it most of the time, particularly when I tilt by head back or to the side. It isn't painful in anyway though and I think it will be easy enough to get used to. I do however, have very short hair, and If my hair were longer and pulled back, I might have some concerns about it snagging, even though it is a very nice zipper.Sizing:My measurements are somewhat mixed, as I have fairly broad shoulders and small hips, but I went ahead and picked the best match based on the chart based on the largest end of my measurements, keeping in mind that it would be a tight, elastic garment and even if my hips were a couple inches smaller, the fit would probably still be snug. I ordered a medium and have enough room for my shoulders and it's still nice and snug around my waist and hips thanks to the stretchy fabric.Altogether, I'm very happy with the product and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality product!

Ive bought and returned three similar leotards trying to find one that actually fit until now. I think because this is an actual dance wear brand their sizes tend to run taller and slimmer? I’m 5’11 and 130lbs with a very long torso and every other brand was way too short but baggy in the body and arms. This fits like a glove (I got a small which theoretically should be way too short but it’s perfect) and the material feels decent quality, unlike the cheaper ones I ordered. Time will tell if it holds up but if you are taller than average give this brand a try.

Great quality as is always from Capezio. XL is great for my long torso because I’m able to take in the sides while still maintaining length once it’s sewn.

Perfect. *sigh* If I had to nitpick I'd say the turtleneck is a bit tight. I got a small and its just a tad uncomfortable around the neck, but it's an easy fix to stretch it after washing. Overall fantastic quality, fast shipping, very strong zipper. The material is not sheer (though I did get it in black so I can't speak for those who got it in white). The material is warm, not itchy, (might need some seamless underwear though if any). No ride up or uncomfortableness around the crotch, which is a big plus for me. The material is tight as it is supposed to be, but I didn't feel like I was being suffocated even with the bit of tight turtle neck (as I said, only nitpicking). Fantastic product, especially for the large-chested. I can't wait to wear this for my costume!-Andy

So I saw lots of reviews to order a size up. In most juniors I'm an extra small. I ordered a small. Keep in mind I am a tiny, 4'10" young woman who weighs roughly 90 pounds. The small fits almost perfect-- it's a little tight in certain areas, like around the armpits and the sleeves are really tight (or maybe I'm just more muscular than I realize). It sort of wrinkles in the middle but I think it's because I naturally have a short torso. When I stand up straight or pull it down a little, it straightens out. I ordered this for a costume, and for it's purpose, it's absolutely perfect! If you're ordering it for other things, keep in mind IT DOES NOT HAVE SNAPS IN THE CROTCH. I purposely wanted on that way so the aesthetics of my costume looks better. Other than that, it fits just how I need it to! The fabric is very smooth, but it's also thinner than most leotards (then again I used to be a gymnast), so if you plan to wear it without anything else on bottom you'll need some panties that are snug and don't show through.

got tired of getting sun burned so bought this and a few others to use for sun screen works great so i dont cook and burn on the job out in the hot sun

I returned the leotard. I never received my refund. I think I sent it with another return of UGA socks. It must have gotten lost, because I did not receive the package back. I was returning it because I could not zip and unzip the leotard by myself. Otherwise, it is a beautiful piece of ballet clothing.

Like many others, I used this leotard for a Raven costume. I ordered a medium and it fit just right. I'm around 5'3" and 120 pounds. The material is a nice thickness- not too hot, but comfortable. It would be good for a convention.The zipper in the back wasn't horrible for me. I need some help getting it all the way up, but that's not a huge deal. The neck isn't horribly tight, but snug. It covers anything that needs to be covered and looks slimming.I had no issues with bad stitching or holes. All the seams were properly sewn and held up fine.This was a great product for my costume. I would buy it again.
