Nothing Sticks Like a Shadow

We really enjoyed this story and it has fun, colorful illustrations.
Cute, cute, cute story. I got it for my PreK students. We do a study on shadows each year and they really liked this story. Rabbit makes a betbwith woodchuck that he can lose his shadow. Rabbit tries and tries to lose his shadow. He and his friends get very creative trying different ways to get rid of his shadow. In the end he realizes though that he really does not want to lose his shadow because he likes to play with it. We really enjoyed this story and it has fun, colorful illustrations.

Great book
Lovely story. It was cute. So many books about shadows are dry and informational. The children in my pre- pk class loved it,

cute!
I can't wait to use this book to introduce shadows during my day/night kindergarten unit. The story is cute and kindergarten students can connect with the characters. I will have students lay on black paper and trace friends "shadows". Fun!

Great story!
This is a great, fun fictional story to help teach about shadows. It was a fun way to start conversation in my K class about what causes a shadow and how to make one "disappear."
