Very nice net & looks to be well made & sturdy, not some cheap plastic ones we have seen.The hoop when removed from pole folds in half. Both the hoop & pole are made out of heavy guage lightweight aluminum. The net is a fine mesh & appears to be well made also. I like the way the pole telescopes out & locks into place with just a quick twist similar to a hiking pole. This makes it for compact storage.We got this to catch hummingbirds that accidentally fly into our garage. We don't put the door all the way up but somehow they fly low enough to get inside then fly around near the ceiling & can't find their way out.We put the door down, wait a few minutes until the bird settles down then gently come from behind them, catch them & release them back outside unharmed.The net is fine enough & just deep enough that they don't get hung up on it.Would definitely recommend this.

This item is well worth the money if you want to catch those stinging insects that harm your home. Beats using poison. The pole feels sturdy but the hoop is slightly flimsy. Still works and the telescoping pole is a nice feature. Being made of aluminum, I'm also able to get out bugs from our pool.

This was a nice net. The handle telescopes easily the net is not too thin, and it’s lightweight enough for a small child to use. My seven year old son loves it! He’s scraped it wildly through the bushes many times trying to catch insects and the net has held up fine.

Delivery was in two pieces and at first I thought the handle was missing.Light and sturdy, the telescoping handle operates smoothly and connects to the net loop securelyFor the price point this will do what I want it toI am using this with a home made PVC pipe stand to work as a pistol brass collector

Amazed at the package this arrived in, thought it couldn't be what I had purchased. After a easy assembly I was surprised by the quality of construction. Although I didn't require it this can readily be stored in a small backpack.

Handle and net is loose. Turning to tighten does nothing, handle just spins and is useless. Net ring just wobbles about. Too bad the design wasn't implemented well, design seems OK, just not built correctly. Cheaply constructed, no quality assurance.UPDATE: Was contacted by seller and a resolution is pending, will post again if things change.UPDATE #2: Received new model and this one has a better handle -- and tightens PERFECTLY! I like the deep net so the butterfly or critter doesn't escape until I can let them out of my lanai. I also like the extendable handle that allows me to reach up high to catch my critters. Well made.

I’m making a butterfly collection for my grandson and I sit in the yard on nice days and watch all the birds and insects. Just something to do (I’m retired) Works well and the best part is the telescoping handle
