This book adds three new sample settings to the core rules: age of myth (think of Greek/Norse mythology), monsterworld (think of cultist horror/vampire hunting), and post apocalypse (think of Fallout/Mad Max/Zombies).It also offers new archetypes, skills and talents to add to those settings, or to use along with the ones from the core book. Moreover, it offers a nice step-by-step guide to create your own setting by adding more information to the simplified process of the core book. In fact, you may download the expanded setting creation sheet form Fantasy Flight Games' website to follow the process (it's 7 pages long). The book also offers an entire section dedicated to vehicle and adversary creation (besides a step-by-step guide, it adds 34 sample vehicles, and 32 sample adversaries), along with expanded magic rules (including new talents and spells), more detail on specialization trees, more details on social encounters, and two new tones to play with: Heist and Noir.I really recommend getting this tome, especially if you're a GM. The whole setting creation process is incredibly useful, and the sample vehicle and adversary lists give you more content to use from scratch.

Superb expansion on the Genesys system. It is a modular toolkit, just like the Core Rulebook.There is a lot here to work with - new Archetypes that is different from the normal dry "species" format of the core book. New spells. Vehicle Rules. New genres. Well worh the money.Only negative - again a damaged book delivered. The packaging is far from adequate.

This is a great product for the Storyteller, not so much for the Player.

Nice addition to the system but for the price I thought it would have been as big as a book as the others.

We own the first guide book for Genesys, but this book has a lot of good additional information.

While the content is good, it is not a players guide. Most of it is for the GM. The magic section is a good addition to the game but I was hoping for something player focused and especially more on equipment.
