these were just the right batteries for my dogs shock collar! I had originally found these 47a6 batteries on amazon for my higher prices, but then I came upon this deal and was a bit skeptic at first for 2 reasons: 1. why is it 476A rather than the 47a6 batteries I need? 2. why is it so cheap?!!I found out that 47a6 and 476A are the same type of battery, but is named different depending on the manufacturer and that these batteries are just a great deal! They last a long while and come in an abundance! I only need to use about 1 battery for 3 months, so I've got more than a year's supply! I was worried about the batteries losing life in storage, but I read online that the batteries should be fine as longs as you store them in a cold place like the refrigerator.

I tested two of the batteries as soon as I received the pack of 10 and they both tested at 6.35 volts, which is good for a 6 volt battery. Since this pack of 10 costs as much as a single battery at a retail store I figure that if just these two are good and the rest are bad (they are probably all fine) then this is still a great deal. Don't believe the name brand battery hype, although I haven't tested the longevity of these batteries yet, voltage is voltage.A cool little trick is that there are four LR44 button type batteries (1.5 volts each) housed inside each of these batteries, hence the name 4LR44. So if you need those button batteries for a laser pointer or something then these are a great deal for 40 of them .

After reading both positive and negative reviews about all of the low cost 6v battery options I decided to give these a try. As many have mentioned, one or two good ones more than pays for the whole pack. Some people have found that the batteries don't even measure 6 volts, which is a good indication that they are not fresh.I have not yet tried them in my dog collar application to see how long they last, but I checked one and it measures 6.36 volts so I am hopeful it will last just like the $5.00 ones.I think they are worth a try for sure.

I bought a bark control collar for my chihuahua who chases cars quite a bit. It only takes this size battery which is near impossible to find except for here on Amazon.com. The batteries work great for maybe 2 days and then my dog figures out that his collar doesn't beep at him when he starts barking.... As long as I remove the battery at night when he isn't wearing the collar they last longer (maybe 5 days), but I'm not always so good at the remembering part. Good thing these come in a 10 pk. I wish the batteries would last a little longer

I was really close to not buying this - how could I buy ten batteries for the cost of one from Duracell? It must be bogus is what I was thinking. You can't get something for nothing. But in fact, I got ten batteries for about six bucks, while one duracell of the same version was about six bucks. I put it in the barking collar, and it worked. Now, will it last as long as a duracell? Maybe not. But I have ten of them!!! Great deal. Oh yeah, at Petsmart they are about six or seven bucks. So, basically the markup is about 1000%. I am going to keep my eye open for deals like this in the future.

I dont know whether the issue is this particular brand or if the seller just had a ton of them sitting in a warehouse getting old, but these batteries are horrible. We purchased them for the collar to go with the naughty dog's electric fence. No battery has lasted more than a week, some have only lasted 2-3 days. The other day it went unnoticed that the red light was on, indicating the battery is low. The little bugger was able to tunnel out of the fence per usual which completely defeats the purpose of having the system!So in short, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I thought this large of an amount of batteries would last a while and we are almost out of them. Good riddance I guess, now I know not to cheap out and to purchase high quality batteries from the start to avoid all this hassle.

We did not want to resort to these collars for our two little barking dogs. However, NOTHING else we tried had worked. There had been complaints about them from the neighbors, and were afraid we would be evicted. After 1 week, one dog had completely stopped barking. The second dog took two weeks. The barking decreased significantly within the first two days, but it still took a bit more time. I hate to recommend an item like this, but we were at our wits end, and they have worked. So it you have tried everything else including the collars that spray citronella and nothing else has worked, try these collars.

i ordered these batteries for use in our new anti bark collars. i installed the day i got them 2-3 weeka ago and they are still going strong.. the collars are in use most every day on our 2 barking tereriers. the batteries are all packed in air tight blister packs and in my opinion are as good as any from local stores and at over half the price. i will continue byuing batteries from amazon. i have had a few issues with other products and amazon has always resolved them imiediatly. a great place to shop and a very reliabel customer and return service i recomend these batteries and amazon 1000%
