Durable labels with a chalkboard look without the messiness of chalk! Used these labels for spice jars. The chalk marker hasn't faded, smeared or smudge one bit after a month of heavy use. If you make a mistake, a little tiny bit of ammonia on a cotton swab removes the marker completely and you can try again on the same label. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the marker isn't 100% opaque, but that may have been my technique or not shaking the pen frequently enought.

The pen functions well, its just not fine enough to write a lot of words on the label. I wanted to use it for my canning labels, but I could not write small enough to get all the info on the label. I did use the pen to write spice names on the edge of the lid of spice jars. Worked well for that so I can more easily see what spice is hiding behind the ones that are in the front of the cupboard.

I ordered the package including labels and the fine tip marker. I expected a more chalkboard-like finish, but the labels are just matte black vinyl. However, I am very pleased with them. The included marker works great, as well. I am using these to label dry goods stored in glass canning jars in my pantry. I have plenty left over, but if I ever run out I will definitely reorder this product.

The pen is terrible and damn near un-eraseable - and smeary, and doesn't write a clean line, etc etc. However the labels are great. Just don't buy them for the pen!

I bought these to label some jars for my pantry. I haven't tried the "erasable" feature but they look great and the chalk pen works well. Very happy with my purchase!

The packaging should include directions on how to remove the chalkboard ink. It is a waterproof and semi permanent marker. After spending far too much time scraping the ink off I came online to write a review, and see now that they recommend an ammonia product.1) Wish that was on the fine print of the marker itself!2) I tried everything soap and natural vinegar based cleaners and neither worked. Maybe it must truly be an ammonia based cleaner.I like the labels but have decided to buy a different marker. If you have great handwriting and you plan on never changing the label this could be a good option for you.

Great stuff; easy to remove labels, easy to mark with the white pen. The ink can smear if you touch it before it dries a bit. Used it for organizing and love it. I recommend this product.

Just as pictured and advertised, allows chalkboard type labels to be used on glass jars. Just what we needed for our application.The pen itself, once primed, writes beautifully and is a perfect complement to the labels.
