I love Wild Planet brand but I don't like having to cut out fish guts and bones. Crown Prince my new favorite! So much meat in a little can and it tastes and smells so fresh. I am pull tab challenged so thankfully their lids come off pretty easy. I would much prefer they went back to the "attached key on side of can" to "roll back the lid" - no worry of cutting fingers using this method. It was fun to watch my dad unlock his tiny fishies every Saturday afternoon - (^_^) - If you're not a fish fan please try these as you will enjoy.

If you are watching your sodium intake and do not want to deal with bones, these are the sardines for you. Very meaty and worth the money. Just didn’t care for the aftertaste.

COMPLETELY DISGUSTING. NOT FRESH. This product is awful. It tastes like what I can only imagine the bottom of a fisherman's boot taste like after walking around the deck of a fishing boat for several days. I know the difference between fish that's fresh and fish that isn't. I've gone fishing many times and my family used to run a seafood restaurant. I grew up eating fish and seafood constantly, catching it, cooking it, cleaning it, unpacking it, preparing it, storing it, selling it. Wild planet is far superior to this. Not only is it not fresh at all, it tastes like it's been sitting out and it's overly salted. Very poor quality product. I have no idea why Whole Foods sells this garbage and I hate it when they run out of wild planet and replace it with this garbage and I get this smelly disgusting surprise in my grocery bags. Completely nasty. I've had this product on multiple occasions and it's been terrible every time. Last time I couldn't stand to eat all of it, threw it away, and my garbage can was so smelly the next day I had to take my garbage out. STAY AWAY!Sorry but if you like this, you have no idea what fresh fish is supposed to taste like. You must have grown up eating some pretty nasty stuff.
