Spice Cream & Sister Freeze Wax - New & improved (100g/3.52oz)

Excellent product, super-strong hold, slightly sticky but washes out with just water. I used to use Garnier Fructis "Surf Hair", my favorite for years - great price, could reform during the day, washed out easily. Then Garnier changed the formula, hiked the price, worsened the hold, and called it "Surfer Hair". Bring on the revolt, 1star reviews and many lost customers. I tried a few other hair products as a replacement with no success (terrible hold, too waxy, bad smell etc...) After 9 months of frustration, a friend was visiting and recommended this Spice Cream & Sister Freeze Wax. Sure, I'll give it a shot, couldn't hurt throughout my quest... And I couldn't be happier.The hardest part of this product is getting the correct amount. I'm using about half as much as my old product - if I use anymore, my hair gets too stiff and slightly sticky. Haven't had any flaking, very easy to wash out with plain water, no residue, and seriously awesome forming capabilities, and reforming during the day is very easy. I bought the 100g/3.52oz size. Much pricier than the others I bought, but since you use less, actually a fantastic deal - this size will last me at least a year because I'm using so much less. The smell is subtle, not over perfumey, pleasant. Love this stuff!

This is a nice balance of the Spice Sister's wax as this is not as stiff as the others and blends into your hair in a more natural way like gel. Highly recommend this as it goes in easy and generally will support a natural look vs the hard spike or glossed look of gel or the harder waxes.This particular deal also had Prime shipping which was an entirely different experience than when the shippers (usually in Japan) send it. Normally it takes a month, but with Prime it was here in a few days.

I’ve been using this product for a while now. It has a great hold but not too stiff. You also don’t have to use much to style your hair and it also smells great.

just a little does the job. I have very thick straight hair. lasts all day, washes out easily. hair feels a little tacky, but works well if you're not the type to touch your hair throughout the day.

I have tried several styling products from this brand. This particular one provides strong hold (hence the name “freeze” wax. My prior day style pretty much stay in place the next day. I believe this product is made for men but the scent is neutral so I’m ok with using it. It will not make your hair greasy. I would suggest using a very small amount to start and add additional small amounts if needed. If you get too much product in your hair it’s not fun.

This thing is amazing. You can use so little and do so much. If you use literally just a smidgeon, you can get your hair styled with a dry texture look so it doesn't even seem like you're using any product. If you want to look all dapper, just use more and it'll look wet. Hold is amazing, and yet washes out easily in the shower.

Stiffest hair styling product I've used. Typically I put it on after a shower when my hair is still slightly damp and only need to use a tiny bit. Smells good and not greasy or sticky.

Great product. I am only buying this hair product from now on. Smells good, easy to wash, easy to style with fingers.
