Nice condition and book is great for refreshing knowledge and to study for certification tests

I purchased the Medical Surgical Nursing Review and Resource book to study for the ANA board certification. I passed! This is the only book I used. It's a great resource for any RN honestly. It's easy to read, contains all the pertinent information and great examples. I highly recommend.

I recently took the exam and passed it on first attempt. This study guide was useful in terms of the outline and table format. However, it would be beneficial to have more practice questions incorporated after each chapter in order to facilitate learning. The last section of the book provided only 51 review test questions. I used other study guides.

The test was very straight forward if you followed the ANCC test outline and this book when you prepared.

passed the 2020 ancc rnbc with this. didnt read it, just did questions in the back.

Loved this book!!! I learned so much and feel empowered with the knowledge. Very helpful in my line of work! I have not taken the certification yet, but this and another review book...feel confident.

Purchased this book because it is the latest edition for the medical surgical certification. It was also recommended on the ANCC website. However, as I am going through the information, I can't help but notice a few errors in the information provided. For example, oliguria was listed under the considered symptoms of hyponatremia. Hypervolemia was also described as an ECF fluid volume DEFICIT when it should have been overload. How am I to rely on this book with assisting me pass the exam when it's a fail in providing accurate information?! It doesn't deserve a single star at all.

Don't like how there aren't questions at the end of the chapters. Also only 51 review questions at end. Disappointed
