In typical Tamiya fashion great quality and goes together extremely smoothly. Being a more modern mold goes together even better than the older kits from 20 plus years ago (and those were even great) I can't recommend this one enough

Ever since the Lexus LFA was announced, I have had a great interest in it. It's design, shape, and interior just amazes me. It's too bad there are only few in the world, and they have an unbelievable price of $375,000. When I saw this model on Amazon, I knew I had to get it. It took a while to arrive, but the wait was worth it! I didn't know the kit came with photoetched parts though. I painted them black and glued it to the body to make it's heat vents. They looked fantastic! I sprayed it dark metallic blue and came up with my own caramel colored mixture for the interior. One of my favorite parts of the model, is that it comes with 2 wing pieces. You can choose anytime anywhere if you want the wing deployed or hidden in the back. It also comes with a great hood prop. It holds the hood open better than any of my other models I've built. I own 10 models that I have built and now being displayed safely away from harmful elements towards models like dust and debris in the air, and my LFA is DEFINETELY my favorite of them all.

Great Tamiya product as always. Annoyed my “new” purchase arrived unsealed and opened. Hopefully all the parts are there.

It turned out to be a very cool car. Its one of my favorites. The only challenging part of the build was getting the body on the chassis.

I say beyond the stars because 5 stars is not enough for this kit. There are Approximately 160 plastic parts. The masking for the windows is precut. There are 37 steps in the directions. Two magnets hold the hood prop in place. The hood opens exposing the motor. The rear wing has options for a deployed wing that is held in place by three magnets. The box shows red, white, and yellow body colors. All parts fit perfectly. It is a complicated build that can only be imperfect if the builder makes it so. If directions and all inserts are followed correctly you will be satisfied, no doubt. Car builders rejoice, perfection is here.

Absolutely wonderful kit with terrific details and incredible engineering. Everything fits together perfectly and the finished product captures the lines like few kits do. Clever touches like the prop rod magnets abound and the simplified engine details up quite nicely.

Alle Teile sind extrem hochwertig und passgenau, wie immer von TAMIYA. Die Bauanleitung ist auch komplett auf Deutsch. Die Teile vor dem zusammenbau sind in Weiß, Schwarz, Grau-Silber, Chrom und transparenten Teilen, sowie Photo-Ätz-Teile. Ich bin extrem zufrieden und kann dieses Modell nur empfehlen. das zusammenbauen und lackieren hat einfach nur richtig spaß gemacht.

Another superb kit from Tamiya. I haven’t built it yet but I know it will be a dream to put together and the result will be a fantastic model. This kit is difficult to find currently in the UK and this one came from a Hong Kong vendor (rcecho). Bearing mind it came from halfway round the world it arrived in a fairly timely manner. It was also quite well packed and arrived with only minor damage to the box (again bearing in mind the distance it travelled I didn’t think it was too bad).
