seem brittle
haven't tested cleanup,first they are very easy for 2 year old to hold and he seems to be able to color easily but we gave him one box and he has broken almost every crayon in half despite his limited strength

Great crayons at a great deal!
I love the size and wash-ability of these crayons and I was able to purchase this 6 pack for less than 3 packages in the store. I'm planning to give the rest to my son's teacher for kids who may not be able to afford all 3 packages she requested.
