The Zen Book of Life: Wisdom from the Great Masters, Teachers, and Writers of All Time

The selection of quotes in this book is just what I was looking for, and it's very enjoyable to read and re-read. The authors/editors have been a bit careless, sometimes repeating a selection and sometimes misspelling a word or three, but even with that it's still the best compilation of spiritual aphorisms I've ever seen ~ And the artwork is great too.

The Zen Book of Life: Wisdom from the Great Masters: Beautiful brush paintings, short quotations from various Buddhist and non-Buddhist teachers. I wanted a quote for every day, and I think there are enough for a year. No exhortations to do or be this or that, just quotes. A few typos in the names (Suzuki, Hakuin), and the Kindle format isn't paged uniformly, but I'm glad I bought this.

A beautifully done, quality-printed, paperback book, with spacious design and sweet ink-brush artwork cmplimentary to the zen and wisdom teachings. Mark Zocchi, editor and publisher, crafted this book with care and it shows. Recommended!

I made a mistake firstly by buying this as I didn’t realise it was a quotes book, I thought it was more than that. But then the quotes themselves aren’t that inspiring in my opinion, some only have four words. Disappointed on the whole considering the quotes are from some renowned thinkers and writers
