Purchased this wallet so it wouldn't fall out of my pocket.
The rubber assures it stays in my pocket. Will not fall out. Love it!

Good, but limited
I really like this as an idean and I've also bought a belt from the same company, but the wallet is very small and not good for holding cash.

Pros and Cons
On the good side, the Alchemy Goods Belltown Compact Wallet is made of thin, flexible upcycled tires. It has a great feel and it seems that it would stretch quite a bit over time.On the bad side, you really have to work at stretching the material to get the described number of cards in each slot. Another issue is that it says that it fits folded money but it really doesn't. Cash is just too big, and the fact that you must fold it makes the wallet hard to close and bulky. It also makes accessing money quickly and easily a problem. If you never carry cash, this is a great wallet. If you want to carry cash, I suggest going with the Alchemy Goods Franklin Bifold Wallet .I would check out the entire line of Alchemy Goods products: Great concept, Made in the USA!, Earth friendly, and Cruelty free.I gave the product four stars because I feel fortunate, as a Vegan, to have more cruelty free options at affordable prices. I also feel proud to support products made in the USA. In conclusion, the Belltown looks (and feels) like a quality product that would last for years. It is just the wrong fit for me. I'm going to go with the Franklin.Good experience with Amazon shipping.

A nice, compact wallet I can carry in a front pocket.
I first bought this wallet from a store when I was in another town for a concert. Not wanting to carry a full size wallet, I was looking for something to carry ID, credit card, and a bit of cash. I stopped sitting on a wallet long ago, and putting your stuff in your front pocket is much more pickpocket proof. This is now my everyday wallet, I've added a few more things (e.g. medical cards), but it's great for stripping you down to your essentials. The first wallet lasted five years, and I really like the fact that it's recycled rubber, which also makes it a bit stretchy. Would buy again; in fact, I already did!

I love everything about it—it fits 5 or 6 credit cards ...
This wallet rocks! I love everything about it—it fits 5 or 6 credit cards comfortably in the inner slot and cash plus another card behind the ID pocket. Six business cards fit in the outer pocket in back. It flips open and closed with a twist the wrist, is easy to grasp and feel in a pocket and is stylish to boot. Though it's a bit too "grippy" right at first, the rubber becomes more flexible and more easily manipulated after a few days. The stitching is solid and seemingly unravel-proof and the construction is clean and angular.Though it will probable last 10 years, I'll be buying another when it finally needs replacing.Best of all, it looks awesome and re-uses a completely renewable resource that is about as green as renewable resources come! :)

Awesome stretchy little planet helper!
Love this stretchy little wallet! My first one lasted about 3 years! Nice thing is that it stretches to fit 10 or more cards in each side and then if you downsize to fewer cards it shrinks back down to fit unlike leather wallets. Love the wallet, love giving the rubber a second life!

Poor quality- don't buy
These ended up being really poor quality. The hinges didn't line up on 2 of them, they wouldn't even close. They all came covered in a gross oil. The wood was rough and patchy in color.

Nice wallet, not too rubbery
I keep cash and 2 credit cards outside, a bunch of "club" and "rewards" cards in the inside pocket, and my ID in the clear pocket. I also keep the card that "beeps" me into my office, and a bit more cash, behind my ID.(I had to cut down on what I carried to get my stuff in this small wallet. But I haven't missed my library card, my AAA card, my uncle's business card, or any of the other crap I got rid of.)Note that the ID pocket is clear plastic, NOT mesh. I was pleasantly surprised by this because I prefer clear. It doesn't really feel like rubber, although when stuffing cards in you can feel it stretch a bit. Very happy with this!
