I did my first small engine repair on a used Subaru pressure washer my neighbor gave me. I knew enough to know the existing carb was shot and constantly leaked fuel. I bought this unit and cut out the choke assembly. It's mostly plastic so it was easy to snipe it out. I took the choke assembly of the old carb and it installed perfectly. Thing runs great and now I have a nice working pressure washer.Neighbor originally took it to a mower shop and they said it would cost too much to fix because parts weren't available. I found this carb in 1 minute and decided to give it shot.They include air filter I can't use and only a couple of the gaskets will fit the assembly. However, the existing gaskets are still in great shape so I could reuse them again.

Not exactly a oem but The carb Fits with no issues. Didn’t need to use the included filter but decided why not. note: The EA175 has a mesh filter located on the outside fuel tank inside the nipple just remove the fuel line (not in this kit) Also someone stated the choke has a spring which closes the valve and might be difficult to start. I choose to not remove the spring. Just reach over pull the choke with one hand and pull start with the other. It’s awkward but one light pull and motor should turn over with the new carb. Didn’t use the included spark plug, someone mentioned it damaged their cylinder due to length when I change mine I will update the review* Paper air filter and foam filter fits. I wish it came with more fuel line so I could have it replaced the tank line to shut off valve. Overall happy now that my pressure washing is working.

Great package for the price. I used this to replace the carburetor on a Subaru e175 engine. Prior to replacing the carburetor, the engine would start and run for about 3 seconds then stall out.The new carburetor has a spring load on the choke which my old one didn't have which caused the choke to not stay in place unless I held the choke-pull while pull starting the engine. Obviously, that was VERY inconvenient, therefore ,I had to make a small modification on it (disconnected the spring on the choke) and that solved the problem. Once I installed the new carburetor and disconnected the choke spring, the engine started on the first pull. Works perfectly now. The kit also comes with gaskets, air cleaner and a new spark plug. The center electrode for the spark plug that came with the kit was missing rendering the new spark plug useless. That was slightly disappointing and why I marked this review down one star. I would still recommend this product.

Warning! This kit does not fit Subaru Robin EA190V as advertised! I should have noticed when the air filter was obviously not correct but I installed the provided spark plug and it destroyed my engine. After removing it was obvious the plug was too deep and destroyed the internals of my engine. It won’t even turn with the starter cord.Time for a rebuild or throw it away.I should have paid more attention before installing. Shouldn’t have trusted this kit to work as advertised. Be very careful!

I never attempted any small engine repairs before. I installed the carburetor on my pressure washer. After watching a how to video I had no problem with the installation. It only took 20 minutes and now it starts with one pull every time. Great product for a fantastic price.

This carburetor replacement went on smoothly and without incident. There was, however, a potential glitch as a fuel filter was included, which is excellent, but the inlet and outlet hoses were different a different size from the original hose. So, save the old fuel hose for round 2.

Carburetor was easy to install, fit well and engine runs great....BUT the supplied spark plug was too long. I didn't notice prior to installation and when I cranked the engine, the piston (I assume) hit the end of the electrode, bent it and seized the engine. Fortunately after removing the spark plug, I wass eventually able to free the crankshaft and I am am hoping no damage was done as engine runs fine with no smoke/knocking. So check your old plug for compatibility...other than this issue this would have been a 5 star review.
