Alice In Wonderland Playing Cards - Red Back Deck

Fun stuff! I think the illustrations are great! Another review stated they looked cheap. Not so, but these pictures are from the origninal version and are certainly (gratefully) not Disneyfied. Each card is different and has a different quote. Yes, some of the quotes are random...but that makes them that much more fun. If you like Lewis Carol and his original illustrations, you'll love these. The quality is what you would expect for a decent deck of cards. Also, most cards are about $6 a deck, so this price isn't bad. I just wish there were the option to buy them with the collector's tin box available.

I’m sure I didn’t pay attention to the size in the description. So if you’re like me, be ware, they are not a standard deck size! Still adorable, still got and get used!

A gift idea for child of any age or gender let me say. The quotes from the book & colored prints ignite the story as you spend an afternoon with family playing cards or perhaps doing magick tricks. I purchased these as a Christmas present for my husband, who is a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland. We are both very pleased with the quality of these playing cards. The illustrations look great. The quotes on each card are a good mix of well known quotes and more obscure quotes from the book. Also, Prospero Art shipped them to us quickly and in good packaging.

Now these are Alice in Wonderland playing cards. A definite gift for all Alice in Wonderland fans. They're gorgeous.

I'm working on a junk journal, based on the first book, Alice in Wonderland. This deck is split between both the "Alice in Wonderland" story and the sequel, "Through the looking glass" . I'll try to attach a photo of the deck I got as you can see, there's pretty much a 50/50 split between both stories, while the jokers are the mad hatter and the cheshire cat. If you're using as regular playing cards, they do come in a bit smaller than the typical size of 3.5 x 2.5 inches. For those of us that do atcs, this smaller card may be an issue. They'll be a nice, unique addition to my junk journal. The box was difficult to open, so sadly it got damaged in order to open it and get the deck out.
