Small, but perfectly formed
This is NOT a large mouse mat. Measuring just under 9 inches (22cm) by 7 inches (18cm) this is a relatively small mouse mat, but that's okay. Modern mouse sensitivity means that this still works just fine even for a multi-monitor extended desktop. It may not make it suitable for all gamers though, especially if they play in ultra high resolutions and like a finely responsive mouse setting.The mat is thin enough to be supremely comfortable, thick enough to be completely solid and rigid in use to be a firm, flat surface.The rough side is perfect for holding the mat steady on my desk, although self-adhesive rubber feet are also provided if buyers had a more smooth and glossy work surface, such as a glass-topped table/desk. The smooth side feels silky to the touch, frictionless to the mouse, but has micro-abrasions to allow the mouse to perfectly track its motions.Good, tidy little mouse mat that doesn't take up much space, is lightweight enough to slip noticeably into a laptop bag, and is very practical and comfortable to use.

Not for Laser mice
Only 2 stars as I had compatibility issues and so had to return. The mat looks nice, feels solid and has smooth and textured surfaces. It is small so be aware of the size before ordering.Unfortunately I had issues, using a Logitech G700 Laser mouse I found the pad incompatible, with the cursor jumping and small precision movement not being detected. For this reason I had to return the pad and can NOT recommend for high precision laser mice.

Perfect size for sofa surfing
Im not sure I could use it a normal mouse mat, it's a bit too small but for sitting on the sofa it's exactly what I needed, hard and a small enough size so I can comfortably use on the arm of the sofa (My computer is connected through the TV).

Cute
Very cute mouse pad, bigger than I thought it would have been. Light weight and works well with my Magic Mouse. Wouldn’t say it’s worth £10+ though

Slides all over the show on most surfaces
Slides all over the show on most surfaces when you try to use it. Also makes a scratching sounds as you use your mouse. Good build though!
