🌿 Great Variety & Enrichment for My Bird!
I recently got the Hagen Tropimix Enrichment Food for my cockatiel/lovebird, and I’m really happy with it so far. The mix has a nice variety of seeds, fruits, nuts, vegetables, grains, and legumes—perfect for keeping my bird engaged and satisfied. ✅ Pros: • Variety & Nutrition: The blend looks colorful and diverse, which I think will be fun and healthy for my bird. • Quality Ingredients: Everything seems fresh and high-quality. • Bird-Approved: My bird seems curious and excited to try it! ⚠️ Note: • The bag is a bit smaller than I expected at 2 lb., so it might not last very long for multiple birds or larger parrot species. 🐦 Overall: I’m confident my bird is going to love this food, and I appreciate that it provides both nutrition and enrichment in one mix. Great option for small to medium birds!

Great enrichment food for a Sun Conure.
My Sun Conure really enjoys this Hagen Mix. This is the second bag we’ve purchased. I appreciate the high quality and freshness. All of their products have been very good. Most of all our conure likes it. We will be purchasing again.

Glad I tried it but switching back to pellets
I usually use Hagen Tropican Lifetime Granules in cockatiel size as a base diet for my birds (parrotlets, cockatiels, green cheeks, Indian ringnecks). I got this in an attempt to switch over some recently purchased birds from a seed only diet to pellets. Although they will eat much of this mix, they still don't like the pellets. And among the ones who do eat the pellets, I have been surprised by the amount of waste left in the dishes. I thought this was a completely consumable food with pre-shelled seeds, but I see seed chaff left in the food dishes. Maybe I misunderstood what I was getting. The birds who ate pellets anyway love the taste of this. But for the cost I will return to feeding pellets only to those who eat pellets, and I'll keep trying to introduce pellets slowly to my new seed only birds. I'm glad I tried it, and it seems like a better alternative to straight seed for sure, but there was still some waste. It is a high quality mix and has that great Tropican "juicy fruit gum" scent!

My picky bird loves it
My bird absolutely loves this food. It's the first pelleted food I've gotten him to eat. Great variety of fruits and veggies too.

My birds love this!
This is a regular snack in their diets. The pieces are small enough that I think even Budgies could enjoy it. I feed it to my Quakers and Green Cheek Conures as a snack aside from their regular diet of chop and pellets. I will say that it would definitely be beneficial for birdies with beak damage or deformations, as they wouldn't need to deshell anything. The quality is always great. In fact, I have it on auto ship each month, so when they're near to running out, I don't have to worry about it. The package is somewhat small, but it's lacking all of the seed shell waste, so the price point is even better than for traditional seeds. Not to mention, it also includes pellets, and small pieces of papaya. My birds are always excited for their Tropimix, so I'm assuming it tastes great. Give it a try! Your feathered friends will squawk with delight, I'm sure of it! Mine even sing "mmm mmm, yummy yummy!" When it's time to eat it. Could just be habit, but I like to think it's because they're excited to be eating it 🤣

Decent Variety but Pricey and Selective Eating
Hagen Tropimix offers a good mix of seeds, nuts, fruits, and vegetables, which initially seemed like a well-rounded diet for my cockatiels. The variety is impressive, and I appreciate that it includes some healthier options beyond just seeds. However, my birds tend to pick out their favorite bits—mostly the sunflower seeds and dried fruit—and leave behind the smaller grains and legumes. This makes me question whether they're actually getting balanced nutrition or just filling up on the tastier (and less nutritious) pieces. The price feels a bit steep for what you get. While the ingredients are quality, the fact that so much of it goes to waste because my birds are selective eaters makes it hard to justify the cost. I’ve tried mixing it with other pellets to encourage them to eat more of the nutritious components, but they still manage to sort out the "junk food" first. It’s not a bad product, and I’ll likely keep using it in rotation with other foods. But if you’re looking for something your birds won’t cherry-pick through, you might want to consider a pellet-based diet instead. Good in theory, but execution could be better for the price.
