This Christmas gift was enthusiastically received, and was a big hit. So much so that after about a week it stopped moving. The motor still ran but didn’t engage the gears to move the tail. I contacted the seller and they were terrific. They responded immediately and offered either a refund or replacement, and didn’t want the broken one returned. Replacement came quickly, and so far is functioning well. Cat really loves this thing. She stalks it, grabs it, kicks it, bites it. It charges via USB, and the second one seems to hold a charge better. Good product made better by great customer support!

I personally think it’s funny and the texture is good. I guess it’s just my cat doesn’t really like this kind of toys. Although the quality of catnip is not satisfying and the toy doesn’t seem to be designed in a way suitable for stuffing catnip in it. I don’t feel comfortable stuffing crushed dry leaves directly into the fish cause I concern it will get into the charging interface.

When I purchased this toy it was bigger than my 8 week old kitten who attacked anything. He was hesitant at first but it immediately became one of his favorite toys. The battery does die quickly but it charges fairly fast and then it's back to play time. The thumping is loud on anything other than carpet so I have to turn it off at night because my kitten will attack it and wake up the SO. It's amusing to watch him play with the fish though. Very happy purchase.

I was excited to receive the moving catfish toy and when I did my cat smelled it was starting to play with it then it started to move. That was it he ran away and it just sits there he will not play with it full of catnip provided.Commerical's show cat playing with it they must be aggressive cats or special ones. I wonder how long it took them to get the cat to play with toy. Simply a waste of money.

I have a cranky old lady tortie kitty named Pancakes and she loves her fish! She'll hunt it! Lay down and bite it! Run by and swipe it! EVERYTHING FISHY! The only drawback with the fish is that it tends to need to be charged quite often but really, if that's the only thing that's wrong with it...I'm changing my review to FIVE STARS! I don't know how long it takes to charge as I do it overnight so the cat won't play with it while I'm sleeping. I have come home from work though and found it in some pretty interesting places so I know she just LOVES IT!! Pancakes says you should buy it for your cats!

The media could not be loaded. I have 12 indoor cats of different breeds and sizes, domestic short hair, Norwegian Forrest, Maine Coon etc, and they have many toys. Also of many types and sizes. So if I see something different I always get them something new to try. Sometimes I get a paws up and sometimes a paws down. This was definitely a paws down sorry to say. Out of 12 cats NOT ONE would play with it while it was turned on! Not one! A couple would bat it a little once it was turned off. The catnip pack that came with it was a joke lol! No scent whatsoever. I replaced it with some really good catnip, purchased off Amazon, and several of my kitties did roll around with it and tried to kick the life out of it. While it was off! They already have several large fish to play with so this was really a disappointment considering this fish was supposed to be a fun toy since it flipped and flopped around. I’m not sure if the noise is the deterrent or the motion or both. I won’t return it simply because some will play with it turned off. With 12 fur babies you can’t have too many toys but I wouldn’t buy another or recommend it to anyone. Sorry

The first one I ordered wouldn't charge and I had the replacement the next day. Excellent customer service!This one works well and I can honestly say my cat has never enjoyed anything more than this flopping fish toy. He's an exhausted little maniac after playing with it for hours. It took 3 hours of his wrestling on 1 20 minute charge. Bravo! I could not be more pleased. This thing is wonderful!

Purchased this item twice. Item looks the same. But it does not come as advertised. The shell itself is pretty durable. The motor had a long battery life until it failed.It came with a circular plug instead or a USB as advertised. It came with a plastic bag of cat nip, with no special liner for cat nip. The battery does last a good while when you fully charged it. It just unfortunately stopped "flipping" it's tail. It sounded like it was trying to, but the motion wasn't there.All in all. Cat loved it. I thought it was a decent enough purchase.
